So, let's start this review with something that could have been easily dismissed, if not for all the other problems compounding on top of it. At 47 years old I was required to show an ID to purchase a alcoholic beverage. Ok sure, let me walk all the way back out to my car to get my ID, even though my hair is grey and I have enough wrinkles on my face, that I would have been flattered by the question, had it not been so obvious. I did, and finally received my drink.
My business associate ordered a MudSlide, at 38 years old, he was denied because he offered a paper copy of his ID issued by the DMV and not a physical plastic ID, due to a lost ID situation. The DMV insured him that the paper copy would be valid at all places requesting a ID as it was stamped with the State Seal, until his new one showed up in the mail. He never did get his drink.
Ordered breadsticks with all four dipping sauces offered, waited for 10 minutes, finally ONE bowl breadsticks brought out for five people. No sauces brought out until 5 minutes later. Breadsticks lasted 2 seconds and no more were brought out until almost the end of our meal, even though they were suppose to be all you could eat.
When our order finally did show up, my husband and MINOR child who both ordered salad with their meal was asked if they wanted cheese on their salad for the one large bowl of salad that was brought out, that they was suppose to share. My MINOR child said no and husband said yes. It took my husband telling the waitress THREE times to ignore the child and put cheese on the salad before she would finally comply. At that point she walked around my husband and went to far side of my MINOR child and half whispered to him, she would make him a separate salad. My husband overheard this and about walked out on the spot. I don't know how you guys do things in woke, liberal hellholes, but here in republican Oklahoma parents dictate what our children eat and you DO NOT go against the parents wishes to cater to children once the parent has decided the course.
When the ticket for the meal showed up, we were charged for five dipping sauces for the breadsticks, even though only four were offered and ordered. With only one serving of dipping sauces ever showing up at our table.
The food was great, hot, well prepared, tasted amazing but the service was atrocious. Our servers name was Brianna and with a $140+ ticket, we expected better. We will NEVER step foot back in the Olive Garden....
Read moreMy husband and I ate here Friday night. He saw there was a special for Steak gorgonzola Alfredo. He loves their chicken Alfredo, so steak sounded even better. Our food arrives quickly, even with them being slammed (which was awesome I applied them for the speedy service). My simple angel hair with marinara is fine. His Alfredo however looked... different. The waitress only told us it had gorgonzola on it. She failed to mention the spinach, tomato's, and a weird, dark, sweet sauce drizzled on top. It didn't look like Alfredo. My husband thought he got the wrong order at first but figured, "Maybe they're just spicing it up." He took one bite. Spit it out. And downed his sweet tea to get the taste out of his mouth. We waited for our waitress to come back. When she did we asked ..what is this? She just said "Yeah, we're trying something new." My husband requested just regular chicken Alfredo because he wasn't going to eat this. She said okay and went to put the order in. My food was now gone, the steak Alfredo that smelled like death is sitting at the table, and my husband is sipping on soup until the new pasta arrives. It's a busy Friday night so we decide to get the pasta to go. When we go to check out, we see we are paying for my meal, my husband's Alfredo, and the steak abomination that wasn't touched besides one bite. We definitely weren't taking it home either. I understand maybe paying for half of it, cost of ingredients and what not, but when the meal just sat their the whole time and clearly was not enjoyed by guests...that left a bad taste in my mouth. So for 2 people to eat was $67...not including tip. Ridiculous price for an extremely...
Read moreJust wanted to say although our personal experience was very good I was very displeased and disappointed in the professionalism of who I can only assume was the lunch shift manager and a waitress. They we're making comments in the front of house at the entrance counter about the fact that a very large group of I believe women with roses that was being served we're taking enough pictures. "46 pictures should be enough they don't need 47" They then continued to laugh and talk about how "they've been sitting there too long and they should of left 30 minutes ago." When they realized I saw them and had heard what was being said about the customers they went to the back. During them carrying on about it though there was a table she had been sat that she completely neglected for at least ten minutes. She then got to them and said "sorry I had a big table and they didn't tell me I had been sat. The large table had been gone for at least 20 minutes by that time and she had already gone back to I assume see what kind of tip she had been left and then went back to the back. If your gonna talk about your customers which you shouldn't because without customers businesses have no business which means you have no job but if you must I would recommend not in front of house and where other customers hear it. If you are the large table of ladies that all had roses there at lunch time and left about 1 or 1:30ish you all should get reimbursed or at least the tip you...
