The building has some serious wear with dirty ceiling panels and grimy looking with a smell of oil. No music so everyone can hear you speaking. The hibachi looked okay but we got a booth. The service was friendly but nothing exceptional and only 1 checkup for drink refills. The food took some time luckily we came in at 5:45pm and beat the dinner rush but at 6:30 there was hardly any tables available. Had Long Island Roll Angel Roll Forgot our 3rd one The only delicious one was Angel Roll All others were just bland and didn't have much flavor to them. They weren't necessarily bad but they weren't delicious. Would get Angel again. Skeptical on returning as the price point for the quality and service is a bit unbalanced.

Fireball by Pitbull anyone? They need some music with the fiery shows on the Hibachi grill. Went for the Hibachi course directly. Items were fresh (ordered the chicken and shrimp from the Hibachi combo), friends ordered the steak and the mignon filet; they tasted perfect and were properly cooked. Rice had the perfect texture and blended well with the seasoning and the soy sauce. Our assigned cook was entertaining, and boy, was he skilled! The fire-play looked quite ceremonial, haha. Wait times might be a bit longer if you go for the Hibachi during busy evening hours. For the dessert, had Tiramisu and my friends had the fried ice cream. I definitely recommend them.

Dining room was dirty, sticky, and smelled like old cooking oil. I had hibachi steak The sirloin was fantastic(hard to mess up a nice steak) but the fried rice and shrimp appetizer were burned and the cook either didn't notice or didn't care. The white rice had black charred spots all over it the first time he turned it over. I'm not sure how he didn't realize it was burned when everyone watching him cook noticed immediately. With the dining room as dirty as it is, I can only imagine what the back of house looks like.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!

We made reservations for a large group to have an entire hibachi table. We even called the week of to ensure they still had our reservation. They confirmed that they had. We showed up yesterday to check in with our group only to be told that they had given our table to a OSU larger group!!!!!! Talk about livid. I was about to lose my temper and they had the audacity to try to sit half of our group on one section and the other in to squeeze around. All because a sports team showed up with more people then reserved. But due to being OSU and sports and the demographic of group they don’t dare say no in today’s cry about everything if they don’t get their way. So half of our group sat at one table the other half had to stand around till they figure out what to do. Thankfully the group who was at the other end of our table was almost done they finished and left so the rest of our party could sit there. Then to make matters worse the temperature in the place on the non hibachi side was 81 the side we were on was well above that and climbing. They didn’t have any circulation so the smoke was bad. It was such a hot temperature the baby and his parents in our group had to leave it was too extreme of heat for the infant. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks order and get the drinks. Then in the middle of delivering our drinks our waitress had a meltdown and anxiety attack because she spilt a couple drinks on the grill table in front of us. Needless to say we will NOT be returning until a lot of things change. Don’t bother with reservations if the right group and demographic group shows up they will...

DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING IF YOU ARE VEGAN or VEGETARIAN.

I had initially rated this place 4 stars however today had to change to 1 star. Turns out things I thought were vegetarian for YEARS, like the sweet potato roll, actually are not. I feel as though they should have that labeled on the menu. I tried to order soup today so asked if it was vegan (to ensure that there wasn't fish) and that's how I found out that literally everything has fish in it. And that is totally fine, however, it should be clearly labeled on the menu somewhere. Or maybe even just mention that even though the rolls are listed as vegetable rolls, they aren't actually vegetarian (the sauce used on the sweet potato roll has fish).

We probably should've left as soon as multiple things I tried to order didn't work out, but we didn't, so that's our bad. I got age tofu with steamed rice and my husband got vegetable tempura with steamed rice. Well!!! Apparently even the sauce that comes with the vegetable tempura has fish! So. We got plain fried tofu with plain rice and plain fried vegetables with plain rice. We asked for the check and took the food home without eating a single bite. They gave us some sweet chili sauce on our way out. Extremely disappointing.

Again, it's fine for things to have fish and not be vegetarian, just label it clearly.

NOTE: I really really appreciate the server for telling me today that the items had fish. I've come several times over the years and no one has ever mentioned it before. The server is why I rated the...

It is such a shame they hay the guy they have in the front desk. Nagoya has a really good chef. The restaurant was a little busy so I decided to place an order to go.... Well I was just standing there, I told the guy I was ready, he keep doing things in his end... And then instead of taking my order, he decided to answer the phone and take other order first... Obviously the whole thing is not for waiting for him to take the order, which was rude anyway because he just ignored me, but because I'm already here and I have to wait more than what I should for my order to be ready. A waitress took my order but she could not take it to the kitchen to get ready because it was to go, so she handed it to the same guy who didn't place it in the order that it should but 2 orders after. Terrible experience... Like I said, a shame that they picked someone like him as a host. Oh my, someone just called to ask at what time they close today and the guy had to walk outside to check the hours in the...
