Louie's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Stillwater

Normally we love this place and most of their staff. I'm giving a rating based on one visit. If it was everytime we visited, it would be 4 stars. We go in there as a family at least weekly if not more. Tonight they brought in a band and it was the most uncomfortable, horrible experience of my life. We went during normal dinner time, it was busy and it was great until the head band member showed up. Constantly pointing to our table, giving dirty looks, obviously wanting us to leave. They started setting up very close to our table. It was so bad I took pictures Actually they hit a member of our table twice with equipment. I have a baby and if they would have hit her I would have lost it. They didn't even apologize. The crowdedness didn't bother us. What was so bothersome is having someone come in and take up space that the restaurant isn't even equipped to have, not only that, that they came in during normal dinner hours. Have a band. Fine! But don't have them come until 10 pm. Not during regular dinner hours when normal dinner people are trying to spend time with thier family. I then mentioned it to the manager and all he said was "oh sorry". I think that I spend more then $200 -$300 a month at this establishment that I would get more then just a sorry. And none of...

Haven't been there in a couple of years. Walking in I immediately detected the smell of a wet ashtray. We were informed by our waitress it was the new Stag bar next door that we were probably smelling. YUCK! I kept thinking I'd get use to the smell and wouldn't be long before it was not noticeable....I was wrong. We smelled the wet ashtray the entire time we were there. Close enough to the front door that we noticed others walk in and make comment about it smelling like cigarettes. The smell was bad enough but the temperature was freezing....air blowing on us the entire time. I was so cold, so was my friend and she was wearing a hoodie! We both got Taco salads, I'm sure that IF it had been hot when we got it, it wouldn't be long before it was cold due to the arctic air blowing down on us! But the meat was COLD on the salad. I know some Taco salads are made cold, I'm not a fan. The waitress was very busy but she was super sweet. You can tell when someone I'd just busy as opposed to being forgetful or neglectful, she was doing her best with all the customers she had. Pain. Fear. These are words to describe my recent visit at Louie’s. It was first the pain that got me, as I accidentally ingested a giant hair ball neatly tucked in the bottom of my sweet potato fries. I, having straight blonde hair, knew that this wad, of black curly hair, couldn’t have been mine. I very nicely told my waitress, Allison by the way, that I was done with my food so it didn’t matter, but I wanted to let her know that I had hair in my food. She responded to me saying she couldn’t tell anyone about the incident because it would “make them upset”. However, what she failed to consider is what made ME upset. I never received a refund, which wasn’t expected therefore not upsetting, but what was upsetting is that I didn’t even receive an APOLOGY. This is around the time my fear set in. I fear for the next customers that come through their doors. I fear for the community, as there has been no long term studies done on the frequent digestion of hairballs.
