In my sons words "When I first came to Stillwater Martial Arts I learned so much just on my first day and every time I remembered to go in as an empty cup so I could learn all my instructors could teach me. One of my favorite things is learning how to safely use martial arts weapons and breaking boards without breaking my hands! I've learned so much in the short time I've been there and it has been an honor to be one of their students." "They are all calm, cool and collected when they teach and they always are positive, no yelling or making people feel bad. You always leave feeling better than when you went in. I've also learned to focus, and that I don't need karate to fight all the time, I need to learn karate so I don't have to fight. All my instructors are great men and theres always a positive environment and christian music playing. Its a great place to be."
As a parent I've seen a really good change in my son and I think Alex and all the guys go out of there way to make each student feel important and like they are accomplishing something. I have nothing but good to say from a parents perspective....
Read moreStillwater Martial Arts is by far the best karate school my husband and I have ever seen and attended. The instructor and leaders are incredibly friendly and enthusiastic about helping you, especially with learning about the facility, it's goals, and finding the right type of martial arts for you. The school is in a great location and everything inside is extremely organized and clean. Anyone who is interested in attending a martial arts school will not only be impressed by the staff, but also by the members, which are not just the Stillwater community, but a family. The children and other members understand the goals and are well disciplined, which creates a very positive and fun atmosphere.
If you are looking for a martial arts school and are in or near the Stillwater community, I would highly recommend stopping by and asking the instructor personally about the school. You will receive excellent customer service and better knowledge than anything I could type in this review. You won't be...
Read moreMy kids and I started karate classes at Stillwater Martial Arts in February of 2014. My kids had been interested in taking Karate for many years and I decided to check out this school because of the good things I had heard about it from friends. When I found out that if I signed up all my kids for Karate I could take classes too for free I jumped on the chance. I had been in the process of losing a lot of weight (still am!) and I was looking for fun ways to stay active. The instructors are knowledgeable and caring. My fellow classmates in the adult classes have been welcoming as well. I have never felt out of place in this school either due to my age or my limitations caused by my weight. I feel like I have made a lot of progress toward my health goals since beginning classes here and I have done it while having fun!. My kids...
