UPDATE: Monday, May 12, 2025 PM
We went here tonight to take advantage of the $9.99 burger deals. For that price you get a delicious hamburger, fries and a drink! I ordered the big classic bacon cheeseburger. It was VERY GOOD‼️ Came with fries, which were hot, surprising. Also comes with a drink. I had fresh brewed iced tea. This is a great deal that competes with Chili’s three for me for $10.99. But I actually prefer this over Chili’s. You have to kinda hunt for and ask for this deal. It’s been running since the first of the year and our server didn’t know how much longer it would be available. Search in the photos to see a screenshot of the offer. I know we’re going to try and go back before this offer disappears. I don’t think they’re going to go broke because our total bill was 50 or $60. Good job Applebee’s. You gained a couple of stars from my ratings‼️
————————— UPDATE: sometime during the second week of August, 2024 I know I swore I was not going to go back to Applebee’s but I was tempted by the $15.99 all you can eat shrimp, boneless wings and riblets deal. I guess I forgot how miserable it was last time I had it. We ordered the half-price appetizer pretzel to start. That actually was amazing! I can’t wait to go back and have it again. It was served up hot and fresh and was so soft and it came with some kind of beer flavored dipping sauce. Excellent! That’s where the euphoria ends. The all you can eat items are mediocre at best. Obviously, they precook them in big batches ahead of time and they just sit under a warming lamp for a while getting soggy and warm. Can’t recommend them at all. I ordered a second round of the crunchy shrimp and asked that they be hot and fresh. Guess what….they microwaved them. Unbelievable! You all have heard the stories about Applebee’s microwaving everything. Well, let me tell you it’s partly true. Highlight of our dining experience was our server. She was awesome. Took great care of us. I want to say her name was Marie or Maria. I hope I’m right at that. I’ve got my Applebee’s for quite a while. I’m not in any hurry to return.

Update: Monday, December 4, 2023, p.m.
Applebee’s is mediocre. Applebee’s is a lost cause in my book. We won’t be back. They advertise a Christmas special on TV for $13.99. It looks good and then when you get there they don’t have it available. They’re out of some of the ingredients. They’re always out of something. Tonight we’re out of the crunchy shrimp so they couldn’t make the combinations that the advertise on TV. I believe they advertise it for $13.99. They charge me $16.99. Maybe there’s an up charge for the ribs which had the consistency of jerky. Dried out! I heard a server table behind us that they were out of another item. In my book, Denny’s is better than Applebee’s. I have no plans on returning. ——————————
Applebee’s…not my first choice.
The only reason we went here tonight was for the $15 ayce barbecue riblets, crunchy shrimp and boneless chicken wings. It’s also included french fries. It was supposed to include coleslaw but they were out‼️
Otherwise the food is nondescript. And from what I understand most of it comes in frozen and they just reheat it in the restaurant.
The peach lemonade was good.
Our server was awesome. She kept our drinks filled and our dishes full.
Other than that it will probably be a long time...
Read moreUpdate: May 29 We just thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! The kids love the waitress as she is engaging with them and actually listened to them! Food is on point, fresh and yummy!! Thank you Applebee's for always making my entire family happy!
Always great. Never a complaint. Best service in Stockton I think! Jordan was my waitress, and she was all over it!!
Today's visit. Totally different. We went Saturday evening, a few days after the building caught some stray bullets and people were scared to go. Come on, it's Stockton. Can't be scared to go ANYWHERE just because of stray bullets. So, this place was jam packed when we arrived, however, they seated us right away.
25 minutes drag by, 3 ansy children have now made ME ansy. So I decided to attempt to order the kid's meals on the tabletop menu.
I got to the end and it said "technical error, please see it waiter to complete the order.
By this time our waiter had ran by twice, stating he was our waiter and he was coming soon.
40 minutes in, our waiter makes it to our table and we finally order drinks. He also helped me by completing our order for the kids.
An hour in and we are in a totally different atmosphere. The place was mostly empty.
We got our drinks at almost an hour and 15 minutes, then everything else just kindof took a while. The kids got their food BEFORE we got our appetizers so we attacked them. The chicken tenders were rubbery and hard to chew so we told the kids don't worry, eventually we'll get our appetizers and they can tear those up. This took a while and we basically received our appetizers right beside our supper. The rest of the food was awesome. Like no complaints from ANYONE. We also could see that our waiter was busting his rump to get us our food as quickly as possible. For example, he made the kids drinks and brought them the same minute we ordered them. Our waiter was awesome, let me just say. He got a $50. Tip for it to. I always tip well. So many neglect to tip at all. The total for EVERYTHING was $176. So $50 is more than 15%. We love this place, like my whole family does. There's enough variety on the menu to fit so many different cravings that I can easily take my group of 7, aged 2 to 52, and EVERYONE is satisfied. Thank you Applebee's,...

I’m giving this rating because of a very poor experience with the bartender, Juan. The drink he made was terrible—filled to the top with ice and barely any alcohol. I specifically asked for watermelon flavor to be added, and it was completely missing. When I brought it up, the server said the drink would be remade. Instead, Juan just poured the drink I had already sipped from back into the shaker and added flavoring. That’s lazy and unsanitary—he should have made a fresh drink.
I also asked for less ice, and what I received was a half-full cup. It seems clear he either doesn’t care or doesn’t want to be there.
Then there’s Diego. When he overheard I was unhappy, he inserted himself into the situation and got defensive. He’s a server—not the bartender—and should’ve stayed out of it. On top of that, when he handed me the tablet to review my receipt, he snatched it back before I even had a chance to respond. Totally unprofessional.
If I had taken a picture of Diego's behavior, it would’ve spoken for itself.
The only positive part of the experience was the cook, who kindly remade my wonton tacos and made sure the shells were fried harder, just as I asked. Thank you—you were the only one worth tipping.
Thank you also to the manager for removing the drink from the bill. I’m sorry that the rest of the staff is substandard—you deserve a stronger team. A bartender who can’t make decent drinks, a server who doesn’t know the menu, and busboys who hang out instead of working are all major red flags.
*Thank you, Amber, for following up. I appreciate your concern about the employees’ behavior and your efforts to address and rectify the...
