We had the pleasure of celebrating St. Patrick's Day at Mezzo and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the cozy yet vibrant atmosphere made it the perfect place to celebrate the holiday. The real star of the evening was their fresh take on classic pub dishes.
Mezzo elevated traditional favorites with unexpected twists, making each dish feel both comforting and exciting. The corned beef was perfectly tender and paired with a rich, flavorful mustard sauce that took it to a whole new level. The shepherd's pie had a delightful topping, while the filling was packed with flavor, showing off the chef's knack for balancing savory and hearty ingredients.
What impressed us most was how Mezzo managed to bring a fresh approach to these familiar dishes without losing the essence of what makes them so beloved.
The service was exceptional as well--J.T. was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making the entire dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Mezzo truly knows how to deliver an elevated dining experience, and we can't wait to return to try more of their...
Read moreThis is the second time I've had dinner here -- with the same three other people, two of whom are frequent diners here -- and it was much less enjoyable than the first time. It was busy for a Tuesday, and one of our party had made a reservation. We were seated at the one table placed directly in the flow of traffic between the kitchen and the patio. Ugh. When we arrived, there was a four top up front that was empty. We asked to be moved there and the hostess said that it had been booked. That table remained empty the entire night (we stayed until closing - the company and conversation were vastly superior to the seating and dining experience). We expressed our displeasure, but the hostess was indifferent. All night long, people walking that path, both diners and servers, repeatedly banged into the table or one of our chairs. It's obvious management put that table there to increase revenue, but it could have been moved just two feet toward the front and it would have been better. Next time I'm in town, I'll suggest we...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I met and had our first date here a year ago. We returned for our anniversary and the experience almost ruined our night. Restaurant was at less than 1/2 capacity and we were sat at one of the worst tables even when we had a reservation and he had told them we were celebrating. We asked to move and after we did we were ignored by staff. After struggling to find something we wanted on the menu we finally ordered and both meals did not taste as expected. Meat was not seasoned well and tasted freezer burnt. When asked about the food, he gave honest feedback and we were met with uncomfortable amounts of defensiveness about the foodâ as shown in responses to honest reviews. Mezzos did comp his meal and gifted us a dessert. We ended up paying and leaving to a different restaurant in town to help salvage the evening. We will not be returning. Inauthentic Cuisine, poor service, nearly...
