I really enjoy Greek food so I was excited to hear a new place opening in Stockton. Spent $74 for 5 meals which is a little steep but it's fine. My family and I wanted to try everything. For starters, I'm surprised they didnt have a protein option for their chopped salad. I asked for a chicken skewer (I forget the name of their version) and I was charged $5 more for 4 pieces of chicken thighs on a skewer. The meat was borderline raw and I ended up not eating most of it. I had to ask for salad dressing before I left because they forgot to include it. The dressing was SO sour. And I've never seen bell peppers in a greek salad so that was a first. The kids meal offered a meat option, pita, rice OR fries. I opted for fries since my daughter prefers those. Decent portion but there should be a small salad included with all the dry food. I was shocked to see that the pita bread was super crispy like a tortilla chip. Uhhm, pita bread should be soft! We also got the Greek burger but I didn't get to try that as my other kid chowed it down. Guess it was good. We got beef gyro with dry meat and soggy garlic fries.
Lastly, I got my hubby the Mediterranean bowl and his food was the only plate that had hummus. His falafel were good but oddly enough, a little spicy. I've never had spicy falafel in other places. Overall, bummed at the quality of the food. I will say the place was relatively clean and I was greeted when I walked in so I appreciate that.
All in all, I'll stick to my go to Greek food spots...
Read moreHad high hopes for this place as I love Greek food. But was disappointed as this place very much felt like a fast food restaurant and the food reciprocated that as well. The gyro we got was super dry and it was an extra charge for feta which is surprising for a Greek establishment. The fries were cold and were like a downgraded version on In N Out fries. And the beef/lamb plate we got was questionable as the meat was super greasy, the pita was burnt and stuff, & the salad was soggy and tasteless. Although I will say their customer service was top notch, the food just was not good....
Read moreTrying out Greek food for the first time. Walking in it’s a very spacious restaurant. The cashiers were very friendly and talkative instead of most other restaurants where they don’t talk as much I ordered the chop salad through recommendation and had one steak gyro and pork belly gyro. Most of the menu had delicious options. The main guy that was our cashier surprised us with a free baklava froyo which was awesome. I highly recommend this place if your trying to Greek food for the first time it is quite...
