Peke's Ice Cream Paleteria & Neveria — Restaurant in Stockton

On May 24, 2024 I was enjoying a morning walk along the Downtown Stockton Waterfront. I had some extra time and being that I hadn’t been inside the Waterfront Warehouse in quite some time I decided to go inside to see what’s new. Enjoying my walk inside at the new businesses I found Peke’s Ice Cream Paleteria & Neveria. Ice Cream is my favorite food and I couldn’t resist the temptation to indulge as a treat to myself. “Paleteria” (Latin) meaning popsicle shop., “Neveria” (Latin) meaning Ice Cream shop. I ordered 2 scoops on a sugar cone, and I’m glad that I did. The walk-up counter service was refreshingly pleasant as was the tasty and full filling ice cream. I’m glad that I found what I refer to now as one of my new favorite places. While there enjoy the views of the water, other businesses and the marina. Price was comparable. Best Mangonadas in town OMG they do it right. It is refreshing sweet with real mangos slices in center of cup. Mango juice, mango icecream topped with more Mango, chamoy and their own special chili powder. So delicious!!! My husband and I had DMV appointments so we checked in and saw it was going to be an hour wait so to kill time we walked over to see what we could get into downtown. well we found this Diamond in the rough. They have all kinds of Icecreams and mixtures they do. We were blown away by the variety of things they offered. I personally love Mangonadas and so that is what I ordered I was not expecting it to be this amazing. for about $8 you will find a piece of heaven and it is well worth it. Clean appealing store front. Great selection of not just ice cream but snacks and munchies. I enjoy the different flavors.

Lady did not mention that she ran out of mango ice cream when we ordered a mangonada. Suggests strawberry ice cream. Needless to say we did not enjoy. Would have rather she let us know first so we can choose...
