To start with, our server was incredibly polite and kind — she was the only highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about (what I assume was) the manager. His attitude was somewhere between dismissive and outright rude.

I ordered a salad that looked like it had been picked straight from the field and dumped onto the plate. Not chopped, not seasoned — just raw leaves pretending to be a meal. For the price, you'd expect at least a knife to have been involved at some point.

When I politely asked for a to-go box and mentioned I wanted to place a new order, this gentleman (if we can call him that) snatched the plate away without a word and walked off. Charming.

I then ordered a burger, clearly stating I would be dining in. The server acknowledged that with grace. And yet — surprise! — the same manager returned, proudly presenting the burger in a to-go box. A subtle hint, perhaps, that I was no longer welcome?

They later said they'd apply a discount since "I didn’t enjoy the meal," though I hadn’t even complained about the food directly. I guess they figured it out on their own — not exactly Sherlock-level deduction.

To be clear, the issue wasn't the price or even the mediocre food — it was the total lack of respect. If the food had been half as warm as the attitude, maybe I'd...

On Friday 02/24/23, I was left appalled and any other negative adjective you can think of to say the least. Too bad I can’t give zero stars to this place. My boyfriend and I went into this establishment after thinking we’d receive excellent service however that was NOT the case. We were seated through a second entrance opposed to the main entrance by the hostess (she wore a long cardigan, denim jeans, with a short blonde Bob) and yesss we’re African American. When asked why we’re being seated there she chuckled and as I requested to be moved she stated “Oh now you won’t be secluded” In that moment I said ohhh NO this can’t be and as there were three additional tables available near the other patrons. In 2023, we are still doing this???

Please train your employees on basic customer services skills because it appears to be highly lacked at this establishment. Another employee who seemed much more accommodating asked was everything okay as he saw the expression on my boyfriend’s face but at that point it was to far gone. After the unnecessary exchange we decided to leave.

Thankfully we received amazing customer...

Service was fantastic!!! Atmosphere was your normal brewery feel, nothing fancy, low key clean and quiet. Which we enjoyed. Previous review on restroom is accurate, it’s a shared bathroom both sides so take your chances. Now on to the food. We ordered the ribs, turkey leg and cracklins appetizer. The portions were very generous. The taste was not what I would say fantastic 5 star bbq but it was decent. The turkey leg was smoked well but bland and dry. The ribs were fall off the bone but that was the extent of it. The potato that came with the turkey leg was boiled potato and then sprinkled with cojita cheese nothing exciting. The description made it sound better than it tasted. The cracklings made with maple syrup was the one item that was delicious, smoked and seasoned well. This would not be a repeat for us for food but all else I would say yes as a repeat. I wouldn’t tell you not to go. Everyone’s taste is different, but overall the great service and good automsphere it’s...

If amazing was only enough to say! My husband and I love BBQ food; our favorite place (used to be in Stowe), closed 2 years ago. We have now found our favorite BBQ place, and it just so happens to be at the best Hard Cider establishment in Vermont! The atmosphere was divine. There is different areas including outside with live music, the bar, and a few dining areas. The cider on tap is a must, there is nothing that compares to the crispness of the cider; pairs well with fall coming! The food is hands down amazing; fresh, hot, and you can tell by taste that a lot of hard work has gone into it. The BBQ sauces, so taste worthy (my husband wants to buy it). The service is friendly, helpful, and quick! We will be regulars, thank you for such an amazing spot for BBQ and good ole Vermont hard cider! (My husband really would love to get some BBQ for home 😁)
