A quick few days at Outbound Stowe in Stowe, Vermont, staying in the cozy One Bedroom Cabin. It’s a gorgeous property with a pool, hot tub, and fire pits nestled in the scenic woods of Stowe. #outboundstowe #vermont #travel #stowe #vermonthotel

I found this online during my search for hotels in Stowe and was very impressed. We arrived late and Sasha took care of checking us in and informed us that if we book two nights, we get a third night free. The location is 1/4 of the way up from main street Stowe, up Mountain road on the right hand side. The campus grounds has everything you need from your room, a bar restaurant called "Eastside Bar + Bites". Just off the bar on the patio, was an area to sit with an upper deck for extra seating, just past the deck was an area with two gas fireplaces, a pool and a jacuzzi. There is also an area for a real wood fireplace called the "green space" and they provide the wood and fire starters. This is a pet friendly campus and dogs-n-cats are allowed in all the public places, but there are designated areas for dog relief, (please curb your dog's poop). Although I'm sure cats are welcome as well. Inside the main lobby is where you check in, but at night you can also get complimentary "S'mores ingredients", (2) marshmallows, chocolate bars and gram crackers for two people. You also get a stick to roast your marshmallows the way you like them. There is complimentary coffee and hot coco in the lobby as well. In the lobby of the main check in area to the right of the desk, is a series of couches to relax, read a book from the library or play a game (they have many games there). To the left of the check in desk, they have a small gift shop with food and drink for sale, called "Bev & Bites". For breakfast, you can order a "Sammy" breakfast sandwhich via a QR code and it will be ready, hot a fresh when you specify the time you want the sandwhich to be made. They have bikes for rent so you can go to town or just go on the Stowe Recreational Path bike/walking trail. Going towards the mountina on the trail is a stone gazebo that is right on the Little River next to the trail. The room was very clean and very modern and has all the amenities like coffee, tea, towels, A/C unit, shower etc. There is an induction kettle for hot water for the tea, coffee or coco. On the side of the bed a a stand with a nice little alarm clock that doubles as a charger for your phone. You just need a cable for your USB-C or Micro-USB hookup. The one curtain in our suite had an remote up/down, but lots of privacy or dark shade for those who like to sleep in. A large TV was in the room with many features like News, Movies and youtube. However, it did need an area rug from the bed to the bathroom has it had cold floors, but we wore socks or if you have shoes or slippers that will help. The rooms are within a short distance of the restaurant, outdoor fireplace and pools/jacuzzi as well as the area for relaxing in the green space. Overall I give this place a 5-Star ***** because everyone (Sasha mostly) was nice and answered all of our questions about the campus and amenities, where to visit and eat in Stowe, where is the best place to shop and where to go on a hike or use the Stowe Recreation Path to go to town. I "Highly" recommend it for a weekend getaway or romantic meetup with your significant other. Review #2: I stayed a second time because it was such a great place to stay. Tonight they had music from 5-9pm with a guy singing and playing guitar. My suite room was even better this time, King size bed and all the amenities as well. See new pictures below.

Beautiful, brand new hotel in Stowe! They just recently opened up at the end of July. My friend and I stayed here for two nights last Friday and Saturday and we absolutely loved it! The hotel itself has a beautiful pool, bar and hot tub set up. We loved that it opens early at 8am so we could get up and enjoy the hot tub in the cool air. They have a fire pit there as well where they do complimentary smores some nights for hotel guests!

My friend and I booked one of their cabins and we absolutely loved our stay, it was gorgeous inside! The furniture, kitchenware & everything was new & freshly renovated. We loved the view from the living room of the mountains. The cabins, which are located towards the back of the property are very close together & each have their own outdoor space with Adirondack chairs and outdoor table. We had requested beforehand if we could have our own fire pit. Everything was set up for us with wood provided at the cabin when we arrived!

The bedroom can be a bit tight, even for two people. It comes with a big hanging closet & the bathroom connected (huge shower). I think to help maximize space in the bedroom a great addition that could be added to the cabins in the future, would be for them to have underbed storage drawers for people to put more of their clothes/personal belongings in. The only other thing I would suggest is that because the cabins are right next to each other, they should look into getting some type of shades/blinds for the big living room window for a little more privacy.

Overall, I have to say one of the best parts about our stay was the staff! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I feel so bad I can’t remember all of their names at the front desk. A HUGE thank you to Michael for helping us out over the phone and through email!!! We had a lot of questions before booking and he was just extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the property & he made sure the cabin was set up perfectly for us when we arrived. Shoutout to another hotel staff member, Ben for getting our fire pit going for us!

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area. It is within a few minutes walking distance to many great restaurants, hiking trails and it is only about a 20 minute walk into the main downtown Stowe area. As someone who has been coming to Vermont in the Stowe & Jeffersonville area for 25 years, I think Outbound is a great new addition to the town. I hope they continue to do well and I will definitely be staying here again...

My husband and I booked our stay here for MLK weekend. I wasn’t planning on writing a negative review, but there have been way too many issues that just have added up. The cabins are super cute and I love that pets are allowed, however these cabins and the hotel have some major flaws. Let’s start with the fact that the curtains in the bedroom are not blackout and they have bright LED lights outside. We had to get a blanket to cover the window because it’s impossible to sleep. In addition, the HVAC unit hangs right outside on the wall of the bedroom. It literally sounds like you’re in an airplane ready for take off. Also the shower curtain was not installed correctly - all the water keeps getting out and you come out to a puddle of water. Then one morning my husband went out to walk our dog to be encountered by a German shepherd and pitbull running OFF-LEASH towards him. He quickly grabbed our husky and ran inside. I immediately called the front desk to notify them and they asked me if I knew what cabin they were staying in. It’s pet owners like this that ruin it for others, but it would have been nice to get a call from the hotel at least letting us know it was addressed, which I don’t think it was because that night I saw the dogs walking off leash again. And now for the icing on the cake. Since we arrived on Thursday night, the place was barely shoveled, especially the walk ways to the cabin and the rooms. The only walk way that was extremely well shoveled was the one with a ramp for handicap access. Snow was soft, but I kept thinking this isn’t good when temps drop. Guess what, it’s Sunday and the entire place is icy now and I ended up falling on my back getting out of the car because the entire parking area was just ice. As we’re walking back to our cabin, we see someone standing with a shovel texting on his phone because he realizes it’s impossible to shovel ice. He greets us and asks us how we are doing in which I notify him that I fell. He tells me that they just sanded the parking lot. Parking lot did not look sanded or salted at all. When I tell him I actually just fell at the parking lot spot, he just responds with “be careful.” Really?? For the price of this place, it’s not worth it. Too many flaws. Hopefully they start doing better, because this place has a lot of potential, but right now the prices do not justify it. I will say that the staff have been all very nice and accommodating after expressing all my issues. The office manager, Michael...
