Subway — Restaurant in Stratford

I worked here, and I will tell you, do NOT eat here, the store owner tries to take care of a mouse infestation without an exterminator, they reuse deli paper, if bread hits the floor enployees are told to sell it anyway, I had to litterally peel the soda lid holder off of the soda station because of dried soda and mold, the tomatoes get served even if theyre starting to rot, if a sandwhich is messed up, you take it apart and put it back, unless its toasted, in which case, the employee pays for it. Employees are not allowed breaks for 8 hour shifts, and a homeless man watched you work from about 9:30-11 hes also allowed behind the counter, bread is served at night, even served stale. I never really had the meat here so I don’t have anything bad to say about it but I see some bad things so people should take that into concern. Whenever I go there’s only 1 person working and one specific time I remember this was the case it was 5:30 (dinner time) The line took forever. They’ve had a poster up outside for their Mac and cheese and one inside since around March 2019 (its July 2019 currently) but haven’t had it for months now. I asked the woman working for the Mac and cheese and she just said “we’re all out of mac and cheese” (so why don’t you take down the sign??) don’t really get that but okay. I went there and ordered a foot long tuna sub. All I wanted was pickles and olives on it. I asked for extra of both and was told I would be charged extra for that. When I questioned it I was told they were only allowed to put 3 olives and 3 pickles on a sandwich. 3 of each on a footlong?? Even worse when I questioned Subway headquarters, they dismissed me by telling me that every Subway is a franchise and can make their own rules. Subway has always been mediocre at best, but charging for the free toppings they always offered is ridiculous. I have heard this particular Subway is sketchy, and they proved that rumor to be true.
