China Chef - Streetsboro, OH — Restaurant in Streetsboro

My family and I frequent this restaurant A LOT!! Not sure what happened this particular day, 4/19. Flood day here in Streetsboro, my street and whole side of my complex flooded. I'd just gotten off work and wasnt sure where to stay for the night. We stopped at China Chef we got our order in a nice amount of time. I noticed we had no forks so my daughter and I stood at the counter to wait for the host to come back, there was no one in the restaurant with us. In comes a male about a minute later host comes up looks and me and my daughter and asks can he help the male he states "no im looking at the menu" host says ok and walks back in the back.. Another host then comes looks again at me and my daughter and asks the same male can he help him... At this time the male orders its now been about 7 minutes of time that ive been waiting to ask for forks... I say" hey I just want forks" he says ok and tell me to wait... Then hands them to me.

First time ordering China Chef on a whim and never again. I placed my order then started looking through their pictures and reviews and was instantly regretting my decision. Every Chinese place has bad reviews so I thought maybe it would be ok. However, I ordered chicken lo mien which I think the last bad reviews about that were from 8 months ago along with a picture of it that looked pretty gross. Well my husband picked it up and the chicken lo mien was disgusting. I didn’t even try it because it looked so gross. It was to be shared by me and my sister and my sister took a few bites and couldn’t stomach it. Everything was pale, white and soupy like other reviews stated. Usually when you get it from other places, it has some sort of brown sauce on it and everything is brown tinted. Not this. I decided to treat myself and get Chinese. I ordered golden fingers, governors pork, and shrimp chips. I came home and spooned some rice and two pieces of governors pork in my bowl. I noticed that one of the two pieces was shrimp NOT pork. I usually don't like to complain but this time I did. I called and spoke to the lady that helped me when I picked up my order. I told her about my order but mistakenly said chicken instead of pork. She corrected me and I apologized. I continued the conversation with her and she wouldn't have it! I told her I'll take a picture and show her and again, she wouldn't have anything to do with what I had to say! If I wanted to order shrimp I would have! Also, I was a chef for almost 30 years I definitely would not have handled this the way it was handled. What if I had shellfish allergies? Can we say lawsuit? Needless to say I won't be coming back! I'll be going down the street to New Peking Express....
