Hava Kava — Restaurant in Stuart

I believe my old review got deleted and I’m sure it will get deleted again. Was banned over something silly, so I can’t even get a drink and leave unless I talk to the manager. I was given permission to work on my van off to the side and I come back on a Tuesday to be chewed out by one of the kava tenders stating that I can’t do that although given permission by the owner and the gym next door.

Other than that, I have had other friends banned for simply having conversations that the kava tenders didn’t like. We can’t have shoes off in the bar, can’t lay down on the couches and can’t bring up political insights, but it’s ok if a chick falls asleep on a couch covered in blankets while barefoot and no one says a thing. I used to like this place until I learned people do nothing but talk shit and gossip like that’s the only thing they got going for them. I’ve been happier since I have been banned and even like kava me krazy, there’s always some bs. Anyone new comes here be careful. When I have several people I run into tell me the nonsense they run into at this bar, it only proves why being banned was a good thing. It’s apparently easy to get banned from any kava bar when there is a great deal of favoritism that floats these places especially this bar. Both the drinks and food are overpriced given their quality and the service is just OK depending on kavatender who's on shift. Otherwise, the bar area can be absolutely miserable to sit at, and the other parts of the place aren't much better.

It's full of cliques akin to something out of high school, with a lot of the people who come in act as if they haven't matured past 16 years old. The others tend to be very nasty and rude and will not hesitate to tattle on you to the managers if they don't like a conversation you're having with someone.

They're quick to ban people, too. Several of my friends got banned over a conversation that some customer personally didn't like. So, you either "follow the script" or risk getting banned if you have a few too many tangents! They treat you as if you're a kid in an elementary school. Someone on Yelp.com posted a review voicing a similar complaint about this place.

Hava used to be a decent when it wasn't so uptight, but now it's devolved into a place that caters to young people only. Many of whom have serious drug problems. There are plenty of kava bars you can go to besides this one. I regret giving this establishment any money to begin with. It's the WORST kava bar I've been to in Southeast Florida besides Kava Kat and that says a lot!

Hava Kava is the best kava bar in town, hands down. Honestly even the best I’ve been to anywhere! As a regular kava and kratom consumer, I love the range of products that Hava has to offer. Their kava is outstanding in comparison to that of any other bar. Flavor and strength are just right, and it’s enjoyable to drink, whereas the kava of many places is simply disgusting. Definitely recommend trying some of their signature “cake” creamer with your shells.

Every kavatender at hava kava provides outstanding service with a smile and will make you feel like family. The manager, Kyan, and the owner, Eric, are both genuine human beings who care about your happiness and want you to have the beet experience possible no matter what.

The atmosphere is fantastic. The bar is large with many seats and the building is spacious with multiple areas that each provide their own vibe. Great spot to bring a group of any size. I feel very at home at Hava Kava and sometimes being there makes me not want to go home because I’m so comfortable at Hava.

All in all, my favorite kava bar ever. You definitely need to make it a point to visit Hava Kava — especially if you’re trying to introduce anyone to the world of kava. Hava will...
