I love iHop! However, it was my first visit to the Stuart location. It was the worst service I have ever experienced. The hostess was extremely rude; I walked out. I entered at noontime, a waitress was taking care of a to-go order for a gentleman waiting, a family of about 8 were eating and the rest of the restaurant was empty. The hostess/waitress walked past me at the hostess station, I said hello, she never acknowledged me standing there, went and got a bottle of water and started drinking it, walked back past me, a few minutes later she came walking back to hostess station and proceeded to ignore me again taking a pile of papers and shuffling through them and I am standing there patiently. Went back to dining room and returned again. Never saying hello, can I help you, not even looking at me, after about 15 minutes, I said “Excuse me, can I sit at a table” when she finally looked at me and said an abrupt NO! Again, I said I would like to get a table and she replied, “I said NO, I am too busy cleaning tables” From where I was standing all the tables by windows were clean. Doesn’t the customer come first and a decent tone of voice and acknowledgement that I have been standing there come first!!! The gentleman who was waiting commented on how rude she was. I wished him a good day and left. It gets worse, the next day I called to speak with the manager, was told she was busy and call back tomorrow. Which I did and have called numerous times since then (today is a week later and I have called every day) and all I get is a recording and no one has ever answered the phone. This is unbelievable. Read moreFrom the minute I walked in I was greeted horribly, I walked in with my 18 yr old and 2 nieces 10 & 12 and was about to say good afternoon when she loudly said “Good morning sorry you are going to have to wait I’m putting in an order” the kids looked at me as to say how rude and loud. So I waited. Ordered $70 worth of food. The cheeseburger was burnt around the edges and had onion stuck on the bottom. The biscuit looked like it was thawed out from the freezer and crumbled everywhere. Food was disgusting and the drinks that had strawberries in it had white film on them and they were removed from the drinks to later find out that it’s supposedly whip cream from over the weekend that gets on the strawberries. We thought it looked like mold. Only saw 3 people working there and everyone they encountered they were rude to. The place look like it had never had a good cleaning we asked for plastic utensils. The drinks were left full and most of the food was left on the table which they could tell we didn’t like. I got up to pay because I just wanted to leave I let the waitress/host know and she turned around and told the manager who was the cook that day. She said she wished I would have said something so that she could make so thing else for us but believe me at this point I didn’t even want to try to order anything from this dirty disgusting place. Read moreI would give this location a NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could. I submitted an online order at 10:23pm. The food was supposed to be ready at 10:47pm, they close at 11:00pm. I understand it’s late but that’s no excuse for how the even carrier on... My husband drove the almost 20 minute to to pick up our PAID for food only to be greeted by a rude waitress who claimed she “got busy and didn’t see the online order”. And the cook disappeared only to reappear at 10 minutes to 11:00pm to state, “we close in less than 10 minutes and you got your order in too late so I can’t make your food so a manager will have to issue you a refund on DoorDash tomorrow morning.” Mind you, we didn’t order from door dash, we ordered from the IHOP App. Over $50.00 of food ordered and all we got was an artiste, NO APOLOGY, NO 🍲. NO refund. We are from NY and we’ve NEVER been treated like this at home. Didn’t know this is how Florida treats it’s customers. I want a refund AND an apology. Thank you to Jupiter IHOP on Indiantown road-it’s our anniversary and since I’m not feeling well we couldn’t go out and chose a back home favorite (IHOP) and because of you our night wasn’t completely ruined.
