What's the most common thing for someone to be seen eating while walking around in downtown Stuart? Hands down, it's ice cream! And about half of that ice cream comes from Kilwin's Chocolates & Ice Cream. (The other half comes from the Other ice cream shop right down the street!) Kilwin's has ice cream, yogurt, and gelato in a flavor and size to suit everyone. Kid's love the blue, yellow and red concoction called "Superman". Adults can find java, cocoanut, macademia and other exotic and tropical flavors. Friendly folks behind the counter will give you a taste with a smile. This is the best Kilwin's we have been to. It is big with lot's of choices. The ice cream isn't my favorite but good enough and the homemade waffle cones are awesome. Since my favorite part is where the ice cream meets the cone it works for me.

You can franchise a Kilwin's store. Make sure you have an affluent clientele, Kilwin's is pricey. $6.99 for a big single scoop waffle cone.

Another example, the chocolates, at $32 / lb are more than our favorite domestic chocolatier See's (out of San Francisco).

We have bought ice cream, chocolates, and fudge often over the years, and recently decided to try an ice cream cake. It was SO yummy. It's a popular tourist spot on hot days and evenings, so a little patience is needed. Staff try their hardest to service everyone as quickly as they can! Prices are high, but I find that is always the case with these small ice cream shoppes in tourist areas! On street parking is a bit of a challenge, so if you park further away and walk to this shop, you can be there and enjoying your treat...
