Taqueria Neri — Restaurant in Sturgeon Bay

I moved here four months ago. I've been so frustrated with anything saying it's Mexican, because it's been the most flavourless mush you can imagine.

I'm soooo happy I found this place. No frills to the location (it's just a good truck) but the food is what it should be. Fluffy corn tortillas, spiced meats, and super fresh cilantro tops everything. My only critique is I asked for the hottest salsa they had and it was a lot more mild than I hoped.

Despite that of you want a real taco, this is the place to go.

Also the tamales are a special order only, but they were nice enough to let my try one. Super moist, light masa was dence but thin, and the spice level of them...

Absolutely tremendous. Fast and friendly service. I stopped in close to closing time, placed my order. When they handed me my food I realized I forgot to order a burrito for my significant other. They had already started to clean the grill at this point but they were able to make that extra burrito for me and were very nice about my mistake!! Can not recommend them enough.

10/10 salsa 10/10...
