After doing some research, I was excited to try this restaurant with my friends this weekend but was highly disappointed.

Summary: We arrived at 7pm, received our appetizers around 8pm, and finally got our food at 8:50pm. The restaurant was not busy (6 tables including ours/ with 3 servers that I could count and a bartender ). Our server was indifferent and rude when we discussed our dissatisfaction with our service. Food was mediocre.

Detailed summary: We were informed upon ordering that the restaurant had run out of mussels, and the seafood medley. We were slightly disappointed but we were fine with that. After everyone received our appetizers, our server informed one person that the restaurant was also out of edamame. We understood that the lack of food was not our server’s fault, but we did not appreciate the lack of attention he had towards our table/order. Finally, after waiting for our main entrees for almost TWO hours, I asked our server if i could speak to the manager. He said there was no manager and asked what was wrong. He was very dismissive and acted like I was an anomaly to have had a problem with waiting so long in a fairly empty restaurant. He stated that the restaurant is very busy and the rolls are handmade, so of course we would have to wait. He asked what I would need and I asked for any kind of compensation for our time. He ended up giving us 10% off main entrees (about two dollars off per person-for bills between 35 and 115 dollars). When we questioned this, he asked “do you required more?” Personally, I feel that the waiter did not know how to communicate with us in a way that made us feel heard or understood. We left feeling quite upset and to top that off, the food was not good after the wait. The pork and beef for the sushi were dry, the fingerlings for the whitefish was probably one baby potato cut in thirds, the rice in the sushi was dry, but the overall flavor of the food was good.

If you choose this place, I hope you have a better experience! I would not...

Our entire bachelorette party was super excited for this restaurant before a night out. We were highly disappointed. I’d recommend to pick somewhere else. When we arrived they were out of some of the dishes we specifically were excited for. Then we ordered drinks which were subpar, and appetizers. When 3 out of the 5 of us received our appetizers after an hour of being at the restaurant, the other 2 people were informed that their appetizers were out of stock and asked if they wanted something else, with no apology. After being at the restaurant for about an hour and 30 minutes, still with no entree, the waiter popped by to say they were almost ready. We FINALLY received our food after being at the restaurant for about 2 hours. The food was so so with dry sushi rice, chewy steak and pork loin, decent taste but felt old and like it had been sitting for a while. We asked to speak with a manager and we were informed that no manager was available. When we expressed our frustration with the lack of service and food, we asked for some sort of compensation and the waiter, still without an apology, offered 10% off. When we got the bill he only gave us 10% off our main entrees which equaled about 2$ a person on bills that were anywhere between 40$ and 100$. When we questioned this he said, and I quote “DO YOU REQUIRE MORE”. At this point we paid and left. This restaurant is a HARD PASS!

Before you call me a karen, this restaurant had 3 servers and a bartender with 6 tables of people…so they were not busy enough to justify this...

Service was horrible. This is not the type of place you should have to hear your server tell you he was suppposed to be somewhere else an hour ago; made us feel like a burden to his social calendar. He started by asking us if we'd like a cocktail, drink, or any final advice. Final advice?? we asked, certainly a weird thing to say as a greeting. We ordered our apps (shrimp were yummy) and our entrees. After our apps, he cleared our table and asked if there would be anything else; we responded, "just our dinners". He returned to ask us if we wanted dessert, again we said just our entrees. He said he forgot we ordered them!!.... then he brought our dinners and forgot he cleared our table; we had no silverware. When attempting to pay our bill, he left the book with our credit card sit on the bar for 10 minutes and then opened it and asked if it was ours with a "I don't know what I'm doing" reply. He then loudly and sarcastically thanked us and hooted and hollered until we hit the street. Horrible date night out. The other two women, one with pink glasses, snickered and thought this server was funny. Pork chop was good. Pork tenderloin had a weird taste with a cherry preparation. $8 wedge salad was a small portion of iceberg, a few cheese crumbles drizzled with french dressing. A pretty sad salad. Sushi looked good but we did not have any. We tipped the idiot server 10% because we are good people but with the proper management our meal should have been comped. 2 hour nightmare! The food isn't...

We made an online reservation for Sunday night, didn’t need to but we did just in case. The people working were extremely friendly and made the dinning experience enjoyable. The food took 45 mins to get to our table, which normally I don’t track but there was only two other tables in the restaurant at the time so it felt odd. Husband got the ramen - which was bland and a strong peanut flavor in the broth. I had the poke bowl which was good but just a normal poke bowl. Atmosphere is amazing- loved the details of the crates all over and the lighting. ♥️

cool atmosphere, great menu options and great sushi. also they had very good sake cocktails. oysters were awesome.we had a great dinner there. the only couple things I noticed is that we were not greeted right away when we entered. it was a little weird that they didn't have a dress code for their servers or bartenders. one sever was wearing Jean's. the atmosphere there seemed too nice for that. the bartender was wearing leather pants and a skimpy crop top. which I thought was not proper apparel for an employee at a nicer restaurant.

Well the crab french onion bisque soup is good. Tonight i had the special roll. It was escolar wrap with wasibi sauce, jalapeno and green onion. It looked good but the flavor was not up to be what I'd expect with all the spicy ingredients. The wrap itself fell apart on couple sections and the escolar seemed skimpy being a $14 roll. I also had their creme burlee. It was smooth in texture and caramelized well on top. But flavor again not up to pricing standards. I would add some vanillia beans in it to help bring it out that flavor.
