The Wanderlust Hotel — Hotel in Sturgeon Bay

My husband and I decided at the last minute that we wanted to stay in Sturgeon Bay on our way home from Door County. We were in luck because Ben, the owner, was so gracious and told us he had a room available. Ben communicated to us all the details of our stay so that checking in was a breeze! Our room was beautiful!! See the pictures attached. He came to our room with a bottle of Door County cherry Mimosa which was delicious!! The room had a nice refrigerator that had a freezer too, which we appreciated so we could freeze our ice packs. There was a coffee maker in the room that had different flavors to enjoy. There was also a kitchenette upstairs that had a microwave. The room was very clean and we enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep in the beautiful canopy bed. Staying here felt like we’d been whisked off to a private escape, with just the right touch of luxury! The suite was a masterpiece—spacious yet cozy, stylish yet comfortably homey, and every detail seemed to whisper “relax.”

The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud that hugged you just right. And the bathroom was no mere bathroom; it was more of a personal spa, complete with an gorgeous shower and deep, jetted tub. (Be warned: you may never want to leave!)

We had an incredible experience at The Diplomat! Tami was extremely responsive and supportive as we made a few changes to our dates. Check in was easy and secure, and the suite was beautiful! So many sweet and beautiful touches. It had the old feel but all modern amenities so everything was really comfortable and charming! The bed was so comfortable my boyfriend asked for the name of the mattress so he could get one :) Breakfast was delicious! It was a full fresh meal, delivered to the suite in a really clever and covid safe way! The place was beautiful, great location and great food, and wonderful support from Tami. 12/10...
