We visited the Suamico location tonight and had a mixed experience. Our server, Tosha, was absolutely amazing—non-stop working, taking care of her tables, making drinks, and running food. She really went above and beyond, but unfortunately, she was clearly understaffed.
There were 3 or 4 managers walking around, but none of them were actively helping. They didn’t assist with running food, making drinks, or offering support to Tosha in any way. It felt like they were just standing around while Tosha was doing all the work.
We spoke to Manager Lisa to compliment Tosha and mention that she could really use some help. Instead of addressing the issue or offering a solution, Lisa was extremely rude. She explained that the owner prefers the servers to do everything.
To the owner—Is that truly how you want your business to run? Is it in your best interest to have 3 or 4 managers standing around while the servers are overwhelmed and struggling to keep up? It caused delays with food and drinks, and ultimately, Tosha was doing the job of several people at once.
It’s time to reassess your management team. They're not only failing to support your staff but are also a poor representation of your brand. Tosha was great, but this experience left us questioning whether...
Read moreThis is a rare occasion where a reservation was made ahead of time for a suprise birthday party
Tables were set and the event was held in the back like normal. Decorations took place and everything went well at first. As more people came in the single server who was serving the event (30+) became more agitated. A group of this size should of required more help on the servers behalf.
As time went on the server showed frustration due to the size of the party and how many orders there were to manage. reminder a reservation was put fourth for this size Sometimes the waiter would be courteous and other times not so much. On his behalf he was working alone with no support from other waiters/waitresses.
Food came out pretty fast compared to our group size. Personally my pasta meal was good but the pizza was even better.
Overall: Preparation- good Food- good Service - below average Support - no help...
Read moreOrdered two takeout meals. When I arrived to pick up, order was missing a side salad but no big deal-was not billed for it. Got home 20 minutes away from the restaurant and there was only one meal-not 2. Called the restaurant and was told there were two choices (1) they would remake the second meal if I wanted to drive 40 minutes round trip to pick it up so not an option. Or (2) take a refund in the ribs. I asked for a refund on the meal due to the inconvenience-we had two grown people and one meal that BTW looked like it had been sitting around for awhile. It was cold rubbery. You think a manager would do more to keep a customer especially when they have an empty restaurant and the ability for people to post their experience on the internet where it lives long after the bad meal is served. We will not be back. Their empty store makes...
