3 strikes and you're out MOD. The 1st strike was a complete disregard for cross contamination. They used the same gloves for every customer and threw the toppings and cheese all over that things we didn't want on our pizza was put on because it was such a mess. Strike 2 was I waited 45 min in line before even getting up to order. The line was not very long but they were extremely slow. Then strike 3 was today. I placed my order through the app in order to make things faster. As soon as we arrived in the restaurant I made it known that we were there and they had our receipt printed. The order was labeled as complete in the app 15 min after placing the order but after waiting 45 min in the restaurant I spoke to the workers and they said half of the order was not even started yet! We waited a full hour in the restaurant and watched many other online orders completed before us even though ours was placed before their's. I asked them, that's how I know. My father in law was not able to eat with us because his lunch time was over. I spoke to the manager and he didn't seem too concerned that it took so long. His excuse was that their computer system was slow. He never offered to compensate us for the wait time (like chick-fil-a would have) and when I said they may be losing customers he wasn't too upset. It's sad because the food is mostly good but this branch needs different management and faster employees. I've been to other MODs and they had none of these problems. It is only...

I've been to this location twice and it's hit or miss with customer service. The concept is great, basically the Moe's of pizza. One flat rate for whatever type and amount of topping you want. I've gone all the meats previously, but this time I went Mod size, white sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella base. Pepperoni, salami, and bacon along with more mozzarella before the pie was put in the brick fire oven. My finishing sauces were the fig balsamic and the hot honey. My wife went with a mod size, white sauce, garlic, mozzarella, ricotta, and feta base. Basil, tomatoes, mushrooms, and chicken finished it off. We had to wait 5 minutes for the white sauce to be restocked before our pizza could be made.

The dining room is always dirty. I mimic what other reviews said about having to clean a table before sitting. The tables around the corner are extremely wobbly as if the floor is uneven or sloped toward the wall. The ice machine always sounds like it's dying and extremely loud. The counter in the beverage area looks like it's only cleaned once a month. The plate area was very under stocked. The parmesan cheese shakers were all basically empty. Employees seemed to have ample time to go smoke or play on their phone outside the backdoor though.

The food is always good. Great value for the price. Hundreds of possible combinations for toppings and sauces.

The service? It's not what...

Being a native NYer I'm very prejudiced when it comes to pizza, well let me tell you MOD Pizza in Suffolk will most certainly have me as a return customer. I was greeted the moment we walked thru the door. The young ladies waited patiently as I scanned the menu and what excited me the most is I got my pizza my way, exactly as I wanted it. The size was a bit bigger than a personal pan from the Hut and the quality and taste was amazing. All the topping looked fresh and were readily available.

After I watched them build my pizza and place it in the oven to be cooked I slide on down to pay. They offer military discounts so of course that's a winner for me. I went to get my drink which has free refills. Well honey let me tell you those were the best teas and lemonades I have ever had. The peach tea was amazing and the BlackBerry lemonade will have you not wanting to share.

Called by name to retrieve my pizza fresh, hot out the oven it was like biting into a slice of pizza heaven. It was to much for me to finish in one sitting and I opted to take half home. I also made sure I filled up my cup of BlackBerry tea to go as well, I mean with free refills why not. This place gets a 5 star for a combination of food presentations and taste as well as...

Who would have thought the concept of selecting and making YOUR pizza. (🤭 Sarcasm). MOD pizza does this and does it well. My picture does not do our pizza justice but just know by the time I realized I should take a picture we we devouring our pizzas because it was that good. The cauliflower dough pizza is highly recommended for those on a gluten free diet. This dough did not taste any different than the others. The multiple selection of sauces, spices, greenery, and toppings makes eating pizza and salads at MOD Pizza makes you want to forget about other pizza franchises. For fresh pizza how you want it and without the extra cost for toppings ..... I say go to MOD. They have a great reward points based program that makes it worth being a regular customer. Food is still good 👍. Recommend changing gloves for meat and vegetable toppings , because cross mixing meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy, and spices
