Gotta say, my wife and I absolutely love this place. I’ve been sorta burnt out on mass produced sub places and was looking for a good shop to grab something quick and that would hit the spot when I walked past this location some time ago and decided to give it a try; I’m so glad I did. I walked in and had no idea how to order, and this was noticed by Tom, who came out and showed me patiently and plainly what to do then went back to work assuring me if I had any questions to just let him know. The ordering method is something I actually really like as there no pressure of trying to decide what you want in line before you have to order and you can take it at your own pace. The subs? Perfect. To date I have not had a single one that I didn’t really like or haven’t fully enjoyed. The method they use for wrapping their subs to go is nice too, because I find myself able to get it, go run some errands on my way home, unwrap it at my house and it’s still fresh and warm. Getting a sandwich from this particular Which Wich has been something we like to do when we’re out and we just want to treat ourselves not only because of the food but the environment. The more I go in and observe their mantra and what they are going for, the more I notice it’s all about a place with good vibes; yeah they nailed it. Remember Tom? He is the epitome of good vibes here at this location and is a constant every time I pop in. No matter how busy he is, he always emits those positive upbeat vibes and conversation that really makes you feel like a ‘friend or family stopping by while in the neighborhood’ energy I think the company may be trying to go for all while slamming out amazing subs. I love the fact that he even tries to reach his customers on a first name basis and keeps everyone smiling. Keep up the great work everyone, I’ll still keep spreading the word. Oh, almost forgot… they also have crushed ice on the soda machine so that’s a win...

I do not for the life of me understand how this place has 4.4 stars. But after eating there recently I was so annoyed that I had to leave a review to save other people. I think I've written 3 reviews in 10 years but I just couldn't let this one go.
The basic problem is that this place serves below Subway quality food at twice the price. I've been 3 times over 2 years and gotten something different each time. And every time it has been depressingly bad. I don't exactly consider Subway to be the pinnacle of the sandwich-making arts, so when I get a sub that doesn't even meet their standards, I start to wonder what is going on.
If I was to order a sub, this is the order of places I would consider before I got desperate enough to order from Which Wich again:
Firehouse subs Jersey Mikes Jimmy Johns Subway Wawa Kroger/Harris Teeter/generic grocery store Buying the lunchmeat and doing it myself A gas station that hasn't seen a health inspector since the 80's Going hungry Fighting a homeless guy for his sandwich Pretending to eat an imaginary sandwich Standing in line at a shelter for a free sandwich Picking a fight with a bouncer and getting a knuckle sandwich Paying for a Which Wich sandwich
I know there has to be a worse place to get a sandwich from, I just can't currently think of where that might be.
In conclusion, if you go to any other restaurant within a 10 mile radius you will find better food. Hell, I would risk gas station sushi before I paid for another one of these subs. So just go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Don't waste...
Read more1st time here and was excited to try it. Ordering was fun and unique, filling out the bag; however, now that all the point of sale systems (those are cash registers for you older folks) have the added option of gratuities added to it, and as if that weren't enough, this location had a begging for tips can at the register... but I digress... as a customer service professional of more than 30 years as well as a former server, I wholeheartedly believe in the tipping system... and I give GREAT tips, for excellent service. Paying for my food that you have not yet made for me, does not entitle you to free money yet. When you applied for the job there, you were not applying at the hourly rate of a server. I did not take up table space as I got my order to go. You did not come and refill a drink for me but it seems checking the no box on the gratuity line pissed off you and the sandwich maker so much that you discussed it blatantly, made us stand there over long to wait for our food and yes I watched you like a hawk to make sure you did not do anything to it. You see had you maintained the "vibe" your manager has on the wall, once I received that level of service... after NOT before, i would have handed you cash that you wouldn't have to claim on your taxes. But you don't just deserve it because it's an option on the computer screen. PS. Next time it could be your new district manager, checking in on your "vibe"... something to...
