I've visited this location several times, and I often leave feeling disappointed. When I order any drink, I want to walk away feeling the desire to return and order another especiallywth the promotions offered. The service is great, the food is as described and served hot but the drinks just aren't worth the trip.
Adding foam on top? it usually lacks the frothiness, it often feels more like just having nothing but creamer added to my drink which makes the drink bland and flavorless. Similarly, when I get a shaken espresso, the bitterness of the coffee can overwhelm the other flavors, while at other times, you can't taste it at all, just feels like I’m drinking cream and syrups.
One of my main concerns is that the drinks don't resemble what is shown in the advertising. It would be great if the beverages not only tasted good but also looked appealing, as depicted in the promotional images.
I appreciate that the staff are ALWAYS willing to remake drinks when issues arise, but I've noticed that only about 45% of the time do they get it right on the second attempt in terms of taste and presentation. Unfortunately, that means I sometimes end up having to discard my drinks, which feels like a waste of money.

Read moreWent in drive thru, menu sign not working, message said error that its not working i drive up, in line about 10 minutes, get to cashier tell her I couldn’t order because sign said error not working, she said it is messed up but i could have ordered, asked her to take my order, she has another girl come tell me i have to get out of line and go back through the drive thru, told her that wasn’t going to happen and asked her to take my order, she said i had to get out of line and go back around. She refused to take my order. If the sign is not working with an error message stating it doesn’t work then at least be smart enough to go put a notice up that states menu sign doesn’t work but intercom does or as soon as you get alert to someone at the speaker say I will be with you shortly. Got out of line and went over to dunkin donuts to get my coffee. I had already waited on 4 cars in front of me and there were at least 4 behind. Just decided to share my perspective because because if your equipment doesn’t work correctly let the customer know, if something is against company policy or safety rules let the customer know, telling a customer to get out of line and get back in line when they have already been waiting for a while is poor customer service. when you choose not to provide a reason and you are aware you have a problem why not be accountable for failing to let customers know you have a problem. Read moreThe last three visits to our Starbucks I’m Suffolk Virginia have been terrible. Not making the orders right. When we have asked to remake them they do but still screw them up. It’s just been very bad. Both location have had this issues. Today was the icing on the cake when they messed up both drinks again. Not made right at all. Added ice when it is clear we asked for no ice and then added sweet we to a black cold brew. The labels are clear and say what we wanted and they still can’t get it right. You literally just have to follow what’s on the label. I’m very tired of paying good money to not get a quality product. This feels intentional as well. They want to mess up the orders.
I apologize if this is not the right way to respond back. I saw what Starbucks wrote and wanted to respond. The day I wrote this review I had already tried to reach out via the Starbucks website. Went to chat got a robot. Told the bot the issue that I stated above and then got transferred to a real person. At least that is what the sight said. Reality was I was on the chat for 10 minutes before “an agent joined the chat” from that point 6 more minutes with no answer from the “agent” so yeah they are no help and your little link you sent does not give me much hope that I’ll get appropriate...
