Today was a disappointing day. I have to share this story. I thought I had some slight professional relationship, as the manager/owner and I have spoken lightly on many occasions. I always speak, ask how both managers are doing. I have never been rude or unpleasant. Although I am picky I am always kind,as a paying customer I simply have a preference of how I like my smoothie. I politely asked if there was a manager at work today. She responded yes hes in the rest room I said OK thank you I'll wait. Shortly after the manager came out. I spoke to him, he asked she didn't ring you up? I said no actually I was kind of waiting for you." He rang up my order with no verbal from me, as both managers are aware that I order the same thing every day. I asked him how he was doing he politely but shortly said it OK.Did nor ask me how i was as he normally would have done. He asked if I wanted a receipt I said no, as assume receipts cost them extra money. Myself looking into opening my own restaurant Always out of the receipt to save them any $ I can. As I proceeded to walk away and stand to the side to wait for my order, the manager walked up to the employee, said something in her ear and she proceeded to make my smoothie. I was still on my phone so I waited patiently and accepted the smoothly once she was done. As I had already contemplated, the smoothie was not in the thick form that I would prefer. I ask for the manager again, At her earliest convenience to have him come back to the front. as she was headed back the female manager/ owner walked in. the employee said to her "she wants to speak to him.The female manager turned and ask me if there was something I needed. I said I was hoping that he would make my smoothie as it is not a thick as I would prefer. She said it's OK I will make it for you. I said thank you. As she was working on this she asked if I had ask the employee how I want my smoothie? I told her no as I would prefer if one of the managers make the smoothie for me. SHe then proceeded to tell me we are not always at work. I said I understand and if this is the case I probably won't order the smoothie. She said I just don't want the employees to think there's a problem. I replied "with what" i have absolutely no issue with this young lady she's a lovely girl. Ive never said anything about any employee I am just picky and would prefer my smoothie to be made a certain way. It is nothing personal to me. She said I understand, you know sometimes it's loud in here and sometimes we won't be here to be able to make the smoothie for you. I told her I understood. 2 issues. 1st is it made me very uncomfortable, especially since I've always been so pleasant and respectful. 2nd is I don't understand why anyone would be offended because of a customer's preference? I have never shown this employee anything to have her perceive that I had an issue with her. I've been working on opening my own restaurant soon. I've always critique merchants and their customer service as I am aware that customers are the most important asset to any business. While I thought that this facility was a place with great customer service I was taught a different lesson today. It made me feel very uncomfortable and honestly my feelings were slightly hurt. Mainly because the manager appeared today, that he never wanted to make the smoothie for me in the 1st place and you could tell from his demeanor. For someone who spends money in a facility 3 to 4 times a week I can't imagine how inconvenient is it? Due to this incident today I have to say that I will not return there to spend any more of my money!!! Ever again. I will continue to doordash if i receive ordeds from there as I make some extra money dashing. I will always be pleasant and respectfu, But I will no longer spend my money with this merchant,2 contributions 2 revenue are now 1. my dollars must not make much difference,I am hoping that they will see how this made me feel. Read moreJust to let everyone know. I’m reading “Jasmine Alexander”’s review and I laugh because she’s one of those crazy customers who complained about a “peaches and Silk” smoothie that was orange. She swore there were oranges in it because it was orange. But, peaches are also orange? I did not make the smoothie, I was the one who was very kind and understanding to her insane outrage, however she still goes on to blame me. However I did remake it after one of my New co workers made it exactly right. Then, she had the nerve to ask 16-17 year old girls to walk outside in the rain of a NON drive thru restaurant and walk up to her car as she was angry bc of the color of her smoothie. Crazy. I know. Our manager is only there in the mornings. So we called and he said we could not bc it was a safety hazard. She could be waiting there to kill us for all we know, she was insane. So she came in and had a full refund for both smoothies just so she could prove a point that we had no care for. However, I worked there for almost a year and I can gladly say the whole staff are extremely sweet and will fix anything u don’t like. Read moreI came to this location yesterday (March 21, 2021) with my mom and we were not greeted upon entering the store. The cashier was not polite nor welcoming. I had to ask her if she was ready to take my order (receipt indicates Johnteja took my order). After I placed my order I noticed an off duty manager named Jasmine was in the food prep area with her mask down, not covering her nose or mouth. So, I asked her to cover her nose and mouth as she is in a food prep area. She did oblige, but only because she knew I would not let it go. My mom felt so unwelcome and that health codes were not being met that she did not order. As a manager she should be leading by example, whether on the clock or not. She should also be mindful of the perception she is giving off to customers. How often is she doing this? Who else is doing it and not being held accountable? I ordered a humus veggie wrap and it was also not made correctly. I will not return to this location due to this.
