I wanted to love China House since we live nearby. Unfortunately, the food was not good. We got takeout tonight and they somehow managed to make: - Bad fried rice. No peas, carrots, egg, scallions, baby corn… no nothing. JUST RICE with a little soy sauce. Strange. - Overcooked and tough duck, titled ‘crispy’ duck. This $21 disaster was the most offensive part. Someone cooked an entire duck… cooked it again… and probably again… until it was extra-well done and tough. Then they cut through bones, tendons, wings, everything (using a chainsaw?) and stuck it in a box. It was hard to eat and I wanted one bite of meat without a weird fraction of a bone or ligament in it. I couldn’t cut it with silverware. Never seen anything like this… which is a good thing. The top half of the picture is all the bones. Yes, they’re in pieces. - A mixed seafood dish with hardly any seafood, to include one stick of imitation crab, one scallop sliced horizontally into thirds, 1/8th of one lobster tail, and some smaller shrimp. For the $18 price, it was a joke. - A fine egg roll, which was the only normal part of this meal. Pictures of each dish accompany this review. We were ready to chow down and forgot to take pics til halfway through the meal, when we concluded it was disappointing. I don’t think I could be convinced to give this place another try.

We were a little nervous at first because we thought we had ordered from another place—but Google ended up leading us here, and we’re so glad it did! What a happy accident. From the very first bite, it was clear this spot deserves way more recognition. The fried rice was flavorful and absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. We tried several dishes, and each one was on point. The beef? Tender and rich. The shrimp in lobster sauce? So tasty. And the General Tso’s chicken had just the right balance of sweet and savory with a satisfying crunch. The food was ready in about 10–12 minutes, and the pickup process was super smooth. Everything was hot and packaged well when we got there. This is the kind of dependable, quick, and delicious Chinese spot that’s perfect for busy nights or craving something comforting. Honestly, we’re surprised they don’t have a higher rating on Google. Our experience was clearly 5-star from start to finish. Maybe people just haven’t discovered this gem yet, but we’re definitely fans now. We’ll be back for sure—and we’ll be spreading the word! Great food, quick service, and such a flavorful experience all around. #HiddenGem #YummyChinese #FlavorOnPoint #QuickBiteDelight #FriedRiceGoals #SupportLocalEats #5StarFind #LobsterSauceLove #BeefDoneRight #GeneralTsoGlowUp

Just walking inside of this place feels gross... I hate to say that I didn't get a chance to try their food, which I feel like skews my review. However, I did walk in to make an order, and the guy there was using his hands to scoop in the fried wontons for soup... It was like this little bowl and his hands. I noped the hell out of there immediately, since he was also the one running the register and taking orders without washing his hands. They have an 81 / B for food safety on their wall. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get a B? Especially an 81, so close to a C...

We ordered from door dash. We ordered 3 egg rolls, red curry with chicken, and pad thai shrimp. The shrimp were too over cooked to eat, the pad thai tasted like salt and then nothing and they gave me lemons instead of lime on top, the red curry tasted like they used bland spicy water as the sauce, and the egg rolls were so soggy it was like they had been sitting in a bowl or water and one duck sauce for the 3 eggs rolls. I would NEVER order from here again. It was the most bland, tasteless, disgusting, waste of $45. My husband and I both took 2 bites and then a bite of each others before throwing all that food into the trash can. I’m calling complete BS on anyone who has ever given this place above 1 star. Do the neighborhood a favor and stop preparing food because I wasted my one night a month we order Chinese and delivery on the food my 4 year old could have...
