If I could submit no stars, I would.
The hostess was incredibly rude: I truly believed that she needed to be trained to smile and talk to customers politely.
She targeted me from the moment I set foot into the restaurant and spoke to me with a very unpleasant tone of voice.
In one incident, I was leaving the restroom with wet hands because the facilities were out of paper towels, and she threw two small napkins in front of me at the counter as I passed.
In another, I was at the buffet to get a second helping of food. While I was choosing from the assembly, she approached me and stated that I was using a “dirty” plate. She then went on to claim that I was misbehaving. I had to show her both of the plates (the fresh one on hand and a used one from my table) and I asked her to look at them to compare. She ended up walking away without an apology for her accusations against me.
When I asked to talk to the manager, she said there was no manager and that no one was in charge of the restaurant at the time. Finally, a gentleman-who I assume was the owner/manager-came out from the kitchen after he saw us arguing. While I was explaining what happened, this rude hostess used her native language to talk to the manager in front of me before walking away.
This entire situation was ridiculous. I’d like to warn anyone who looks Chinese or East Asian to stay away from this restaurant if you don’t want to be mistreated.
This is my 2nd negative review for restaurants in the past decade, and this particular establishment has earned the title as the worst...
Read moreExcellent food. Superb. I went for lunch buffet couple of weeks ago with my kids. My kids are food lovers. They amazingly liked it. It was our first lunch buffet here. Sufficient verities plenty of food. Starter to main course followed by yummy dessert Gulab Jamun. Butter Naan, butter chicken, chicken tandoori, rice, Bhature, Cole, panee items, pakoda, samosa, veg curry dishes all are superb delicious. And as meat lovers my favorite goat meat/muttton curry so testy. Price is very reasonable as well. Though Not spacious but worth the food, price and service. Seems Only the ladies are operating the restaurant perfectly.
Prime location on High way 6, opposite of Chinese groceries Jusgo and Ranch 99, plenty of parking, great place to have Indian buffet.
And another plus point is no beef items. This is obviously a great match for Hindu community like. Because everywhere in Houston we found lots of Indian restaurants, all of them serve beef items. And is very hard to find such restaurant and buffet places that doesn't serve beef, and designed for Hindu community who loves meat except beef and pork.
And I suggest them to start dinner buffet as well at least few days in a week.

Read moreThis place was compared to Aga’s, so I was absolutely looking forward to it. The food was so mediocre and just not enjoyable at all. We purchased the curry chicken and the butter chicken. I know you can’t expect different places to carry the same quality, but with it being compared to THE Aga’s I had very high hopes. The curry chicken was the best of the two, so because we spent $37 we ate it. However, it was nowhere near $37 worth. I can’t say anything good about the butter chicken because I couldn’t even finish the spoonful I had. Presentation and packaging could be better as well. The staff was very helpful so I am not going to give 1 star, but I cannot for the life of me give anything higher than a 2. I started to think maybe if I tried them first before Aga’s I’d be more impressed, but the food was just not good. I will keep going where...
