This is my go-to bubble tea place. The owner loves his customers and makes sure they are happy. Proof is that Sharetea is open on Thanksgiving Day (because he wants to make people happy) and days after Hurricane Harvey, it is one of the few, if not the only one, that was open. It gave his customers a place to gather and enjoy a beverage together. I will always remember this!
Sharetea is just a few doors down from Half Price Books, which is how we found them. They serve all kinds of cold (and hot) beverages. Menu is displayed prominently on the wall. There are always 3 or more workers so you get your order quickly, and they are helpful if you have questions. The dining area is nicely decorated and very stylish. Wifi is fast. You can earn points for every visit (they use a phone number you provide to track your rewards). There's ample parking. Some extra info: Here, you can tweak the sweetness of your drink and the amount of ice you want. I usually get their Coffee Milk Tea (creamy in a good way) or Classic Coffee (has stronger coffee taste), both are excellent. The Mango Green Milk Tea with aloe vera has thin pieces of mango that you can taste and it is very enjoyable. In the “Fruit Tea” category, I’ve tried the Mango Green Tea. And this one was delightful even without the creaminess. Keep an eye out for specials or in-season offerings. Always...
Read moreIf I could put zero stars I would. The place was a little packed and some chairs were missing from the table we had decided to sit in. It was 6 of us and I asked an employee with the green jacket if I could grab a few chairs to sit in the big table to which he said yes it’s fine go ahead. I was fixing the chairs I grabbed in the table when a white man with yellow sweater told me you cannot grab chairs those are for employees put them back. I told him I asked an employee with the green jacket and he told me it was fine to which he continued to being argumentative stating it was for employees only. Do keep in mind that there was no sign stating those chairs were for employees only. And if that’s the case have a sign that way nobody grabs them. After the chairs incident he called out an order to which I got up and I looked at the drinks wasn’t even reaching out for them when he immediately grabbed them and said “these are not your order there for those customers back there” to which I told him I’m not grabbing them don’t worry and he just laughed. If this is the customer service they have there it sucks I will not be...
Read moreI have been coming to this Sharetea for years of my life and have always loved it. However, the most recent time I came, the workers were honestly awful. They had horrible customer service, made a drink I had gotten for years of my life... and it tasted horrible, and the worst part of it all was how obnoxiously loud they were. I tried to cut them some slack as they seemed to be just teenagers, but they proceeded to gossip for hours in a voice level that reverberated across the store, and then proceeded to also sing Disney songs loudly enough that I could hear them with my airpods at a high sound level. I believe many can agree with me when I say Sharetea is a well-liked study spot, but these girls truly made it unbearable to even focus on anything past their shrill yelling every...
