Motel 6 Sullivan — Hotel in Sullivan

Wonderful accommodations at this Motel 6 in Sullivan MO right off I-44.... better than many higher priced hotels in the StL MO area! We've stayed here several times in the past 2-3 years while traveling & we've never been disappointed! Friendly & professional mgmt who have high standards and it shows! Spotless & clean detailed rooms, great comfortable King bed w/ nice bed linens (soft & smell great!) It's also very convenient to park right in front of your room versus dealing w/ parking, loading |up a cart, waiting for an elevator, etc! They have renovated many rooms & all are well maintained! No question about where we choose to stay when we are in the area....the room rates are a great value, & there are several good restaurants close by! There are other choices in the area...but we wouldn't stay anywhere else while traveling...

We were really happy we chose to spend the night here after driving 8 hours on our way to Oklahoma. It took a while for someone to arrive to check us in BUT it was because the gentleman was helping a women load her stuff into her car, and I personally don’t mind the wait especially if it’s out of kindness. The rooms are clean. Are they fancy? No. For the price point they are a clean place to lay your head with a shower and toilet. I’m more than pleased. You also have a microwave and fridge. Our tub looks dirty but it’s just work out the paint on the ceramic so it’s a different color which we have that at home, so we understand. Thank you guys for being so hospitable and giving us a safe place to lay our heads for a brief time before we continue on...

I went to check on my uncle and the owner or manager was very rude to me, cussing me out instead of just talking to me in a kind way. I dropped him off the day before and he didn’t say I needed to check in at the front desk to visit him. Either way, there’s no reason for anyone to cuss someone out like that, especially not a business owner. I did not argue with him and I was not rude. I was very submissive and apologetic and confused. Very sad experience. He said I was using his parking lot as a “racetrack”, but I was only going ten mph and there were four speed bumps that I went over and they were very close to each other, there’s no way I could’ve even sped thru there even if...
