Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Sulphur Springs

Chicken wasn’t ready white meat breast. I went through the line ask for spicy chicken breast meal special on Monday he specified no at first so when I ask again do you have the meal on Mondays oh let me check now this is the lead or manager cause your shirt is grey. So he say yes we do have it asked for a spicy breast meal again w/mac- cheese with froze strawberry/ lemonade. When leave window go across to Brums discovered my breast is mild go back across the street to the again pull up to window tell him this not mild not spicy he tells me it was spicy and go ask the young lady in the back did you put spicy or mild she tells him spicy lol he tells me it was spicy are you joking in my thoughts of mine this are you kidding lol. I asked him do you see it, it’s mild he say do don’t worry I’ll give you one and ask for the chicken back, I want you to take it cause I don’t eat mild the spicy is what I like period. I give it back leave look at my Mac-n cheese it’s about 6 noodles with nothing but a whole lot of cheese take it back just to get ask for another one and get another one just like the first one. Now am on my way home up 30 east am done just the both of them in the trash cause he didn’t ask for the first Mac n cheese back. Ppl think you just want something free am trying to eat what I just ask for...

Anyone who loves Popeyes knows to expect a wait, regardless of the location. This was my first visit to this location while on a road trip. This is the best Popeyes I’ve ever been to, because of Zay. Clearly the ready was short staffed. However, The food was absolutely amazing, even though I had to go back in for the missing Coleslaw. Zay immediately checked my order to make sure everything else was correct, and added the slaw so I could be on my way.

Even with the 45 minute wait to get my meal after placing it while standing in the store, this place deserves 5 stars. Even with the extra hour added into my road trip, they deserve 5 stars.

The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean. The vibe was amazing while waiting with the music and clean atmosphere.

Zay was working the front taking orders. Zay was also working the drive thru window. Zay was running orders out to cars. He had a smile on his face and greeted everyone that walked in the door. This location will be our new stop while passing through as long as Zay is there to hold...

The food was ok to say the least, got the nuggets they were alright, could have been sitting there awhile. I wanted no sauce but the brown gravy. Upcharge of 2.99 for a small. Was offered little container of white gravy that was cold! And told that i probably needed to warm it up. I understand it's a business. Any other Popeyes I've been to around this area never charged extra for the gravy if I wasn't getting sauce. It wouldn't be so bad if the food wasn't almost cold as well. I'm sure the owner and gm were in the lobby having meetings. They were very rude to a worker that asked a simple question about how they wanted him to handle the clean up outside from the snow/ice.
