We eat here a lot!! Typically, our party is anywhere from 3-7 people, depending on who all comes. Our last visit here, one of the members ordered the kids fettuccine with chicken (an additional $2.99 to add per the menu). Upon receiving their check, our member questioned the $4.50 charge for extra chicken. The waitress returned stating the manager said the prices had been raised but not all the menus had been updated.

Today we went back & the same ordered was placed. ALL FOUR menus at our table showed $2.99 as the add on price. When the order was placed, we asked her to make sure the price was only $2.99 as the menu stated. When the waitress returned, she had spoken to the manager who said the $4.50 price is what's in their 'digital system' so that's the price we will be charged. Needless to say, the order was changed.

THIS. IS. RIDICULOUS. Not only is this bad business, it's upsurd!!! As the customers, how in the world are we supposed to know what's in their 'digital system'?! Considering the manager/owners way of thinking, they could be charging us whatever prices they want to and we would know NO different until we receive our check! And by then, according to them, we just have to accept it & pay it, no matter how much the difference is!

I have never been in a retail or service situation where there is a price discrepancy and the business has REFUSED to honor the lower price. That's unheard of because it's not the customers responsibility to make sure YOUR prices are correct!! In this case, either honor the lower price when the menu shows it, throw away the incorrect menus or correct the ones with the old pricing. But, by no means, should you hold your patrons responsible for your ineptness!!

*I have a picture of the menu price but it's not allowing me to post it. I will post it to their...

A Delightful Experience at Roma's Italian Restaurant in Sulphur Springs!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Roma's Italian Restaurant in Sulphur Springs, and I can't help but share what a fantastic experience it was!

The cozy ambiance of the restaurant provided the perfect setting for catching up with a friend, and the smaller portions on the lunch menu were just what we needed. I opted for the eggplant parmesan, and it was an absolute treat for the taste buds. The house bread and salad complemented the meal beautifully, making for a delightful culinary experience.

A special shoutout to our lunch waiter, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Their attentiveness and accommodating nature truly added to the overall enjoyment of our time at Roma's. It's refreshing to encounter such excellent service.

Roma's Italian Restaurant has undoubtedly earned a top spot on my list of go-to places. The quality of the food, the inviting atmosphere, and the outstanding service combine to create a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression.

If you find yourself in Sulphur Springs and are in the mood for authentic Italian cuisine, look no further than Roma's. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Thank you, Roma's, for a memorable lunch and a wonderful time catching up...

Went there last night, second time ever being there. They were sort of busy so we didn’t mind waiting a little bit for our waitress. She comes by “has someone taken y’all’s drink orders yet?” We tell her no ma’am and at the point she gets annoyed sighs and says what can I get y’all. We all look at each other and tell her. Then we’re ready to order we wait a while and she finally comes back. We all order except my boyfriend can’t decide so we are all waiting on him and she leaves without saying a word... he decided literally 2 seconds after she leaves. She stands behind the bar and chats with other servers and doesn’t once look at us. We wait another 15 minutes before she comes back and gets his order and is super annoyed. I understand because I’ve been a waitress before that it gets busy and sometimes annoying when you have to take other people’s tables but you don’t show it to the customers. Terrible service, I usually tip very well considering I was a waitress and I know how it is. We only left her 5 on a 58 dollar tab...I felt bad but my boyfriend told me not to for this service. Very sad. I don’t think we...

I travel on business a lot and love Italian food. If you think Olive Garden or macaroni grill is your idea of great Italian, then this review may not be meaningful. I had the veal Parmesan minus the Parmesan and sauce on the side as I feel the cheese takes a lot away from veal taste and sauce drowns it and can be added as needed. This is one of the best pieces of breaded veal I have had(think wiener schnitzel). I squeezed a lemon on top of the veal which brings out more of the flavor. The breeding was super crunchy. The veal was moist and tender, not dry and chewy. Just could not get enough. The side of pasta was pretty good as well with Marinara sauce. The garlic bread they bring out at the start of the meal is amazing. I love doughy bread and this does not disappoint. Maybe a bit salty but other than that, outstanding. I can't speak for the other dishes but if anything like this one, it would be a shame not to give this place s try.

Traveling West, I found myself wanting lasagna. Chain restaurants have let me down repeatedly. This spot is a solid 4 for several reasons. The bread was okay, unevenly salted/seasoned with a sauce that should be served hot or at least warmer. My lasagna turned out okay as well. The texture was nice. The pasta was done well, the meat sauce and meat balls were just okay, (they lack a touch of Italian zest) and I truly enjoy a thicker lasagna. Oddly, the same can be said for the other dishes. Okay, however, they needed more with the sauce to leave you satisfied. The atmosphere was okay. They need a little update and take down the Christmas lights. The service was good. My waiter did a good job providing the attention needed and drinks topped off. The price ended up at $94 with a nice tip. The price for the food was good, the $4 for the drinks (soda and tea) is questionable. It is a nice spot to stop at if you are in the mood for Italian. Cheers

Having made the long ride from Houston to Sulphur Springs, my husband wanted to celebrate our relocation to East Texas and his advancement at work, so we chose Roma’s. From the outside you wouldn’t have any idea the lively atmosphere that awaits inside, with Christmas decorations glittering all about and Christmas lights strung along the ceiling but best of all there was an electric accordion band playing Christmas music as we entered and made our way to a secluded table! We loved the festive ambiance but the food, was fabulous too! Their chicken parm is incredible with a sauce that takes you back to the days when your grandma made it from scratch and guarded that recipe closely. If you want a hearty Italian meal that tastes authentic and leaves you feeling like you might need to unbutton the top button on your jeans, go to Romas. The food, service, and ambiance are delicious, warm and inviting. Yum!
