Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Summerlin South

Our family orders from Capriotti's about once a week. We stopped going to this location because it is corporate owned and poorly managed. The sandwiches are inconsistent and the location is often dirty. We have had really bad sandwiches delivered from here more than once. We now only use the Red Rock Casino location and have it delivered. Today I went online, as usual, and put in my order...careful to say "delivery." I have an account so it all just comes right up. Somewhere in their site it took it upon itself to switch the location and to pickup. After being 30 min. late I looked for the email receipt and it said pickup. Upset, I went over to the casino only to find out it ALSO switched the location and there was no order for me there. I drive over to downtown Summerlin and there it was sitting on the counter for 1.5 hours!! No one there even thought to call, text or email when the order was spoiling on the counter. The guy simply gave me the bag, which at this point was soaked with grease. As soon as I turned to leave the bag ripped open from the grease and three sandwiches hit the floor. To be honest, based on previous experiences there, I didn't expect anyone working there to care and they did not let me down. I left frustrated and ended up throwing away over $50 worth of food. Like an idiot I also tipped my usual 15% for the driver. Knowing that it went to the kids working there, you might think that would have been motivation enough to take better care of the customer....NOPE! This was my very last visit to ANY Capriotti's. We frequent this place on a weekly basis. We go there so much, I even have their rewards app on my phone. Writing this and reading that out loud sorta makes me feel guilty at the thought of having a sub once a week.  I know better, but I just can't help it.  It's that damn good!  

The staff is friendly, and the service is always fast. 2 sandwiches took no time at all, which is great when you're packing a quick lunch into your work day. In this order was 1 Bobbie and 1 Capastrami. The small is huge! You can take half home.  

The Bobbie: This is Thanksgiving in a bun. Slow roasted turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce. A favorite! The bread was spongy and fresh.

Capastrami:  Man, this sandwich is everything it says it is.  Acclaimed best seller I'm sure.. Grilled pastrami, melted swiss and the Russian dressing and coleslaw is out of this world! This sandwich is always super tasty.

I have been coming to this specific location for 3 years. In the last 4 visits my to go order has not been ready or made prior to my arrival or has been made incorrect I don’t know what this new manager is doing to this location but I used to always be greeted and treated with kindness. Now the workers are rude, talking back to customers, and telling me to order a different sandwich if I want to order that I placed because it’s “too confusing” of an order. It’s the same order I’ve been making for 3 years and I’ve never had an issue until the recent manager change. I’m incredibly disappointed as these last few experiences have completely turned me off from going to any Capriotti’s in the future. Lost a years long customer because your employee was rude to my wife and my food is repeatedly messed up or “too confusing” to make when idk what’s so confusing about asking meat to be subbed out for turkey due to dietary...
