Ā Ā Ā Read moreOh boy, where do I even start? This place needs to be rescued by new management asap. The food, is not great. The atmosphere is pretty. Thereās just so much wrong with this place and massive missed potential. The food is very overpriced and unsatisfying for something that does not come off as authentic at all. I think the cheapest meal is the quesadilla for $22. A single ground beef (yes ground beef) taco was $10. No way worth that much. The quality is very low. No love put into the food. Missing massive flavor. The menu should be redone. Missing a kids menu. Why are they trying to make āmushroom and artichokeā happen so hard? Granted, it was an interesting combo on a quesadilla, but why is it the only option for queso? No you can not order queso without artichoke and jalapeƱos in it. Also the artichokes are canned not fresh cooked. My son ordered a meatless salad and suffered food poisoning the next 24 hours so clearly not washing the veggies. The service wasnāt very attentive. Never got checked on. The atmosphereā¦this restaurant is missing a lot, but one extremely important element: MUSIC. Why isnāt there any music? Sound of chatter is incredibly amplified due to the openness of the design and the tile, music is absolutely needed to drown out all the loudness of the patrons. I can not stress how loud with chatter it is in there. A nice place like this should at the very least have some mood setting music playing. This is the best place to have a mariachi band as well and Iām not sure why they are not pursuing that especially on a Friday night. Inside the building is really beautiful. Itās well-made and it doesnāt look cheap. It looks like a beautiful authentic Cantina inside with live plants. However, thereās a lot of randomness that simply does not belong in their and actually quite ridiculous and tacky. Why is there a signed Tom Brady jersey on the wall? The only reason we could come up with was ābecause we have itā. At one point I wasnāt sure if I was in an Applebeeās, but then I was quickly reminded that I was in a Mexican cantina. Still, pick a theme and stick to it, especially for one so heavily into the cantina look. This is the short version of my review and itās not meant to tear this restaurant down. I really want to see it thrive as itās such a beautiful location and could be doing so much better. If youāre going for the beauty of it, donāt expect much from the food. I took guests here from out of town and they were loving the atmosphere but once the food was delivered, they were ready to leave and upset they...
