I really wanted to give this place a higher review but the overall experience was really just ok. The place itself is very cute, animated and clean for sure. The lady that greeted and seated us was talking to someone on her AirPods and just sat us without really saying anything. The set up they have there is a self serve bar with all sorts of meats, sauces and stuff. This was the first self serve Korean BBQ I’ve ever been to. I’ve usually ordered from a server or an iPad and it gets delivered to us. They put a parchment paper on the grill… the point of grill is to get a char in my opinion so we removed the paper. What I will say is that they did have a very large variety and selection of a ton of meats and seafood options. Even for your hotpot you had your veggies and noodle options. We tried to order a Diet Coke from our server and he said we had to get that ourselves from the station. We’re like ok…

My husband got the tomato broth, it legit tasted like Campbell tomato soup cut with water, had very little flavor. My tum yum broth was pretty good but not a ton of flavor or spice. One thing that really threw us off was that the kimchi was sweet, like why? Was there sugar added? Idk but kimchi is supposed to be spicy, tart and savory from fish sauce. Not sweet so we did not enjoy that at even though it’s one of the main things we enjoy about eating Korean bbq. I feel for spending $100 with tip, having to get up multiple times for refills, cooking everything ourselves and not even get a soft drink for our server it was not the most enjoyable experience. What service are we really receiving besides the server clearing our empty plates? I’ve paid the same if not less at MANY places like this where there’s more involvement with the server who’s making the tip. Again this is my personal preference and experience but it doesn’t make me want...

It was our first time at Burnin99 Korean BBQ & Hotpot and they did not disappoint. Our AAU basketball team wanted to try Korean BBQ and with the majority of us it was our first time. Our boys were so excited to choose their own food and then be able to cook it themselves. It was the experience for them and just enjoying each others company over a meal. There were no regrets at all. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had a group of 16 and they went over an beyond to make sure we had everything. Our waiter from Sumter, SC was Amazing. He treated us like family and our boys like they were his little brothers. The food was phenomenal. I love how I get to season and marinate the food the way I want to. They have everything seafood, beef, chicken, pork, veggies. You get to mix and matach your own sauces. Variety of hot pot noodles. When I say they have everything, I mean they have everything. All you can eat, and they make sure you eat what you take. “How?”you say. They weigh your food waste. If you have a lot of uneaten and/or uncooked food, they weigh it and charge you for it. You get unlimited Hotpot, items, dessert, fresh fruits and drinks. 🤩 However, you must pace yourself. There is one negative thing that I must say. As soon as you walk in the door you feel the heat from the all the grills being on. The fans from the tables are blowing all the hot air from underneath each table. Which in turn makes the entire restaurant feel like a hot box.🥵🥵 It doesn’t help that it’s in the middle of summer either. Nevertheless, it was a great first time experience for our boys and the family. We will be back. Southern Hospitality is like no other. Thank you...

We had a fantastic dinner here. It was very clean and the service was great. There were several areas of food (cooked and raw, hotpot and BBQ, other things), but it didn't feel chaotic. They have multiple broth options for the hotpot, which stayed hot the whole time. The grill cooked everything perfectly (and they have images that tell you how long to cook everything). The cooked foods are even excellent - things like fried rice, springs rolls, egg rolls, etc.

There were SO many options for food. It's unlimited, so try everything. They had plain meats, seasoned meats, meats in sauces...and basically every protein you can imagine is there: crab legs, scallops, salmon, shrimp, crawfish, octopus, calamari, chicken, pork, beef, lamb, tripe...meatballs, lobster balls, tofu, mushrooms...the list goes on. They have many different vegetables and extras like seaweed salad, fruits, gyoza, noodles (different kinds), and more. It's an amazing selection.

You will never run out of options. It's appropriate for all diets. The whole table shares a grill, so be aware of that if there are allergies, but you will have your own hotpot broth, so allergies or special diets shouldn't be a concern there as long as the brotha don't contain anything you...

This was first all you can eat BBQ restaurant that I've been to. As a first timer I really enjoyed the experience. The quality of food was pretty good and spot on for the price. The soup you choose really determines the pallet for the majority of the meal, mines was really spicy 🥵 but I enjoyed it overall. Service is A1, they trained their employees to put on the biggest smile and even though some of them might not have English as their first language they were helpful and easy to understand. Our server really helped break the ice for me since it was my first time. Atmosphere is open and well designed. I plan on definitely coming back with some experience under my belt now.
