!!ROACH IN THE SLUSHIE!! First off,they used to have great service,now their workers are always high and this usually destroys their ability to properly do their job,but to get to the tea..or should I say the roach. We pull up,order,the guy makes me repeat each individual item of my combo,he then repeats it back to me correctly which I tell him. THEN he pauses a long while and says can you repeat the first part of your order (aka the combo in question). So then that finally comes up on the screen and I continue with my order which ends with mozzarella sticks and a grape slushie with nerds,add cherries on top. That was all we ordered. He says the total,hangs up and the last of the order comes up on the screen cherry slush. I call back and let him know it was wrong to which he replies "yeah,but they're the same price ....(long pause)... I'll make sure they make it grape." That was not my concern as all slushies tend to be the same price but the flavors make a big difference to each customer. I said thanks,was staying polite but knowing it's gonna come out cherry...and it does. I told our carhop briefly what happened and she goes back and gets a grape one,with nerds,and cherries,and the wonderful free extra roach on top. This roach was not discovered though until my husband had already DRANK from his slushie,went to grab the cherries and found our visitor. Honestly think they did it on purpose,because if they get your order wrong (which they always do) you seriously have to keep checking and asking them to correct it and then remember to ask for sauce which they NEVER give you and I guess they get mad. And the roach was right on top and already dead,it felt placed. Regardless any place that has easy access to roaches has issues....
Read moreThis place sucks in general not sure why this one is still around. I give them 3/6 months and they will be shutting their doors. I'm sure they aren't making nearly as much as they should to stay open as a franchise. How do you run a facility with 2 people? That's not effective for the guest maybe the company. Because the owner wants to be cheap and really take Labor cost too the ultimate zero. Which places more work on your employee's. Causing guest to have to wait. Worst not able to experience the full experience of being at Sonics. Especially when every car that pulls into a stall is told to come through drive thru. Due too your company not having enough staff to serve guest when they park. If we wanted to go through drive thru we could have done that else where. Sonics is THE only quick service that allows you too sit in your car and order food as well as eat your meal. Before heading into heavy traffic to go too work. Its not safe too eat and drive reason for choosing Sonic. So we wouldn't have too get out as go into an establishment and enjoy my meal. Instead my kids got too enjoy their meal. Read moreNOT COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION. We've tried to order food here three times in the past six weeks, and drove away upset and empty-handed each time. Speakers on many stalls don't work and staff take orders out of sequence from when customers push that red order button, IF they respond to it at all. Tonight we found only three cars in the stalls and were encouraged we'd actually get service. We tried two stalls before finding one that worked, but got an order-taker who kept slurring his words so badly and could not get a single item we were ordering correctly. We would repeat every line item 2-4 times and he'd still get it wrong. We gave up mid-order and just drove off by the time we got to our fourth item. We made a last-ditch effort by trying the empty drive-thru only to hear the same individual's voice greet us on the speaker -- we couldn't run away fast enough! Too bad because we've always considered this one of the better Sonic locations and have rated it quite well in the past. After three visits with the same LOUSY service, we give up. Even one star is one too many...
