Puma's Italian Ice & Hot Dog Shack — Restaurant in Summerville

INSANE!! I hate hot dogs. I went bc it was a girls day for me amdy 8yr old amd she is alive today bc of hot dogs, it's her only food source. So I thoit would be fun to give this a try for her. Oh I need to say this as well, she only eats hot dogs, that means a plain hot dog nothing extra. So we came here and she wanted to try the UNICORN DOG simply bc of the name. She ate it and loved it I was shocked I took pics for proof that my kid that eats nothing not even salt and pepper ate a hot dog with whip cream and chile.. as fore I got the kranchy amd I not only loved it but I wantore!!! I am addicted! Not only will this be our regular monthly girls day luncheon But whenever we have guest this is where we will go. And we may eat there like 1x a week also on days I don't feel like cooking. Oh amd the BUTTERBEER!! ITS BETTER THEN DISNEYs! So not only has this place changed my eating out lifestyle, but now I have no reason to go back to Disney ever agin. Bye Disney don't like your movies and pumas...

We have been wanting to try Pumas for a while now and finally got to tonight. The service is a 5 out of 5 stars as well as the hot dogs! There are so many delicious choices of hot dog combinations....many are so crazy but they go so well together! I got the Son of a Mitch and the French Toast one and they were both so delicious! My husband got an original chili dog with onions and mustard and a breakfast dog and he enjoyed both of his! My son got the Unicorn dog and 2 other ones and loved his so much that he ordered another one! All of the hot dogs were so good! The chili is some of the best hot dog chili I've had! We all got a Butterbeer milkshake and enjoyed them! My son and I got the Swedish Fish Italian Ice and it was so tasty and good! We will definitely be returning for the hot dogs, Italian Ice...

We dont write reviews often but all 4 of us agreed, everyone needs to know about this place!

We randomly came in for some Italian ices and not only did we get that but we got some amazing hospitality! The ices were soooo delicious, they tasted just like back home (we are New Yorkers). While we ate our ices we couldn’t help but look at the cool hot dog menu. We ended up trying the “I am Grout” which was 10 out of 10 (my bf is still talking about how good it was) and just when we thought that was it, one of the owners bought out one of his favorite hot dogs for us to try (it had peanut butter on it) and let me tell you, as weird as it may sound… it was beyond tasty!

Everything about this place, from the decor, to the food, to how sweet the owners and customers were will have us...
