My wife and I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and wanted to share our experience. Our server and hostess were amazing and the food was really good. The reason for the bad service is the experience while waiting to be seated. We arrived on a Saturday evening, expecting a wait of some sort. As we entered I noticed two outside tables empty and needed bussed, and upon entering saw every inside table was occupied. We waited by the sign that said please wait to be seated. After a few minutes of waiting an older gentleman walked in, stood by us for about 30 seconds then walked over to one of the servers who was working there, spoke to him briefly then the server stopped what he was doing and walked out the front door with the gentleman. After waiting a while the hostess walked over and said we could wait for an inside table or they would clear an outside table to be seated right away. We took the outside table. When we walked out I was shocked to see the server clearing one of the tables for the older gentleman and his wife. This gentleman got seated before us, and the server literally stopped what he was doing to seat them before us, and did not even acknowledge we were waiting. After sitting next to them I realized the couple who got the special treatment were regulars, everyone working knew them and spoke with them. This may not seem important to others but, I truly feel like no one should get special treatment over another customer. This was our first time at your establishment and you only get one chance at a first impression. We are not regulars, but we should get the same treatment as...

We were given a gift card and thought we should give it a try. Right in downtown Summerville, and in an area where you can walk around. The had outdoor and indoor seating and offered some specials. Our server was nice but she had a hard time remembering things that we asked her for. Asked her for another crab leg cracker because we only got one, and she said “oh did he order crab legs too? I said no I did and so did my friend. She had to walk away and go back to make sure she put the orders in correctly. My husband also asked her for a sweet tea with his meal and we didn’t get it until I had to go up to the counter to ask her for it. I also cannot say this with guarantee but solely off our experience in food and Bev and taste buds. The corn didn’t taste fresh but frozen, and a handful of other things we asked her about she said either came that way or frozen. I say this because my husband is GF and we wanted just a grilled piece of chicken for his salad but they didn’t have anything but pre battered frozen chicken tenders among other things they couldn’t leave off so I would say this place is not gluten free friendly. He ended up getting a salad with blackened mahi. The dressing you can tell weren’t house made, and the fish was slightly over cooked. The kids enjoyed their food and for me my crab legs and chicken wings were good but we felt the overall quality of the food and service wasn’t stellar. I wish they had more fresh and house...

Yesterday, I took my God Daughter out . She loves some seafood, so I took her to One of the best if not the best Seasfood spot in Summerville. We ate outside and had a waiter name Micheal. From the time we ordered our food Micheal didn’t seemed so welcoming and friendly at all. We had to keep waiting time after time to put our order in because kept walking off . We finally got everything we wanted , food is great however we didn’t ate everything because a fly came on our tenders . I nicely explain that to Micheal and his reaction was as if it was our fault that the fly was there and didn’t wanted to replace he . He kept saying in a sarcastic way, “ It’s the policy” Now when did they make that policy? And if it was Micheal could have explain the warnings of flies and to suggest going inside. Micheal then said I can speak to his manager Mr. Matt. He handled the situation great. I didn’t mind if I had to pay for another batch of tenders but it was the principal. Matt gave us a new order along with explaining the situation but again it’s not a policy . The food is great but the vibes from a waiter can really ruin your business. Maybe he was having a bad day , I’m not to sure . My point of this is the customer service tone and posture set a unwelcoming environment for me and my God daughter and if you are a fan of this restaurant I wouldn’t recommend sitting at a table...

My first time here! I was welcome and served by Ms. Brandy. I was welcomed and seated very quickly. The menu has plenty of choices for seafood lovers, kids, and non-seafood meals. I ordered the combo basket which had shrimp and fish. The order came with a healthy portion of fries. I also got a side order of chips and salsa! The food was very fresh. Came out hot. But the flavor of the food was wonderful!!! I can tell the oil used to fry in is clean and fresh. It didn’t have that old dirty oil taste. It was wonderful! The home made tarter sauce was great! Probably they best I’ve had. Only complaint was that I wanted more! It was a good portion of sauce. However, the portion of salsa could have been more generous. But I’m sure if I would have asked for more they would have given me more. Brandy took great care of me and kept my glass filled and checked in on me just enough, but not too much. She was a very busy bee. She was serving inside and outside and never slowed down. She’s a very attentive waitress and I enjoyed her company and service. Lovely place and I hope I get the opportunity to come back again with my family. I wouldnt change a thing about my meal or the food. Only thing I can suggest is to wipe the walls down next to the tables. It’s a seafood place so I can only assume shuckin and shellin gets messy.

A really cool rustic feel, small place. We were there Saturday evening, waited 30 minutes for our table. We sat outside it was a great evening. Employees wearing masks. Outside seating was better social distancing. Inside felt a bit cramped. The fish and chips were fantastic, nice crispy coating it was cod which is one of the best fish to use in this application, it's moist white big flaky fish. The tuna tacos were just that nothing spectacular, you do get a nice amount of tuna on a heated flour tortilla. The Saul Ts was a lot of food and the condiments were a great addition to the meal. The chili's were delicious, add to the drawn butter makes a great dipping sauce for the seafood. Service staff was great and bartenders too.
