I guess I should have read the reviews before ordering here. I ordered through uber eats. When my food arrived, over half of my order was missing. I gave the bag (2 fries and a hot dog) and 2 kids' drinks back to the driver and told her I would contact wayback burgers to have the food ready when she returned. I called to let them know that I only received a portion of my food and she responded, "oh, I know exactly what you're talking about, I have your other bag right in front of me." I requested that the order be remade since it would easily be another 30 minutes before the uber driver got back to the restaurant and back to me. I waited for an hour then contacted Wayback burgers and asked where my food was. The young lady placed me on hold and when she came back she answered, "hello, what's the issue?" I explained what happened and she replied that she had given the uber driver both bags. I asked her why the person I spoke with earlier told me she had the rest of my order in front of her. She then proceeded to tell me my order had been canceled. I asked her how it got canceled if I called and requested that it be remade. She continued to argue with me, never offering any apology for the mistake or inconvenience or for the fact that 2 adults and 4 children have now waited 2 hours for dinner that isn't coming. She repeated that she gave all my food to the driver and I explained once again that the person I spoke with earlier told me they physically had my food in their hand and that they look ridiculous and stupid lying about it. She then hung up on me without mentioning a refund. I am now disputing a refund through uber eats. Having worked in the food and beverage industry for many years, I understand that people make mistakes and food gets left behind. To be rude and lie about it and hang up on a customer is inexcusable. Read moreAfter waiting 30 minutes for a burger and fries order to be cooked (according to the shift mgr on duty the normal ticket time for food is 7 minutes) I was greatly disappointed in the quality of food I was given. The fries were old, cold, and rubbery. The special Oktoberfest burger I was given lacked the cheese as shown and listed on the menu board. I asked to speak to a manager about the wait time for the 30 minutes ticket time and was told by a rude line cook "we don't got no manager here now. You will have to come back after 4 to talk to management." I then asked who was currently in charge in the building and was met by an indecisive shift leader. He was so lacking in customer service skills that a 5 year old could have handled the problems in the restaurant better. He too told me I could come back after 4 or call in to address the ticket wait time. His excuse was were short staffed like everyone else and I should just accept that. It wasn't until after I left and opened up my wrapped burger to find it missing items......I guess the line cook doesn't have to make burgers as the menu describes either and I should accept that too. So basically I spent almost $15. on a nasty to go meal that only item worth consuming was the drink. I will NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone and will be discussing today's visit with the manager when they actually come...
