Branch Pizza — Restaurant in Sunbury

Stopped in after a travel baseball game and here are the reviews:

3yo: This is my MOST FAVORITE pizza EVER. When you make your pizza- I like it! 5yo: Mmm! Mmm! MMMMMMM! MMMMMMM! MMMMMM! If we get a box, I'm eating it ALL.

8yo: The pizza is GREAT. The cheese-stretch is perfect. The flavor of the crust is...THE best. I've never had crust like this before. This is above all, the best pizza ever.

The location is a bit small (for our family of 6 with 3 rowdy boys), so we claimed 2 of the 3 tables on the patio. The pizzas came out piping hot and in no time, even though they seemed pretty busy with people coming and going for pick up orders. The service was very attentive and exceeded my expectations, especially for a pizza joint. We don't live in the area, but I can definitely see making the trip in the future to visit this...

Ordered a small pizza, some plain wings, an Italian sub and some fries for delivery. The positive: The sub had good flavor, good sub bun, but was cold in the middle. The Negative" The pizza sauce is WAYYY too sweet and very thin.It oozed out when you took a bite. Crust is supposedly made fresh daily but tasted pre-made and soggy. The wings were soggy and unspectacular. The fries were RAW in the middle and had no golden color on the outside. They must have been put in the fryer for all of 15 seconds and declared done. I put them in a 450* convection oven for 30 minutes to get them crisp, but they still tasted like they were cooked in oil that was as old as Moses. I guess, back in the day, this was a top notch place, but in 2014 they are not cutting it. Goodfellas, PJ's and even Donatos give you more...

Didn't realize there were new owners before ordering but I should have known from the name change. I used to order the same sub for over the last 10 years if not more and I ordered that same sub yesterday and it was awful. The meat they use now on the sub was slimy and wet and just overall very unappealing. The sub was still hot yet it was completely soggy. I couldn't even eat half of it let alone finish the whole sub and it used to be my favorite thing on the menu. The workers (who i assume were the owners) there last night weren't very friendly/welcoming either and the whole vibe of this place is completely different. I won't be returning here again which is sad but I miss the real...
