Customer service has gradually been getting worse at this location over the last several months I ordered my usual today: a la carte fish filet, dropped fresh and large unsweet iced tea. I also ordered a small fry, dropped fresh, with lite salt. The cashier initially rang it up as a meal with medium fries. I nicely corrected her and asked if she had the meal as a special order, because neither item showed up that way, which was unusual. So I went to the window to pay and, again, very nicely asked her to confirm my fried items were captured as "dropped fresh." So far, all okay (not great, but acceptable). As expected, when I got to the pickup window, I was asked to pull forward to a reserved spot for people waiting for drive-thru orders. I obliged, having expected this as the norm for special orders. A young man brought out my order and I checked to make sure it was complete, then moved into a regular parking space. The top of the sandwich was stuck to the top of the box ( first time in 60 years I've seen that) but at least the filet, cheese, and tartar sauce were reasonably placed, meaning I didn't have to reassemble the whole sandwich - just peeled (most of) the bun off the top of the box and put it on top of the filet. The fries were buried under the box holding the sandwich, so I guessed they were bagged well before my sandwich was ready. This was confirmed when I ate one: it was cold and very tough, not at all crispy. Just to make sure it wasn't an anomaly, I tried a second...same result. Those fries, not even a whole potato, cost me $2.19...25% of the total cost of my meal. I had ready started eating my sandwich (my sugar was low and I HAD to eat), so I got back in the drive-thru line, explained the situation and, that my sandwich was nearly gone, did not want to wait until a new order was ready (I like my fries WITH my sandwich, not after) and politely requested my money back FOR THE FRIES ONLY, which I wouldn't be eating, and told them they could throw them out. The cashier looked confused and asked some guy (a manager?) for help. Again, so far all okay...I was being polite and nice. When I explained, patiently, to this guy the stream of events he looked at me like I was nuts and declined to reimburse for anything, saying I had touched them. Of course I touched them...how else would I have known they were cold and tough? I told him that and then said you can have them back to throw them away yourself, so you know I'm not just trying to get free food, but he smirked and shook his head no. I have been cutting way down on McD's for political reasons, but it is safe to say that, although I have been a fairly regular customer at this location (Sunbury, Ohio), I will not be returning. If I decide I must have something, I'll go to Westerville, which is not that much farther away, or - more likely, visit one of their nearby competitors. Order here at...
Read moreI have never wrote a bad review. Im realistic and understand staffing shortages busy times of business etc. I literally lost my mind today going through this drivethru. Im patient ordering, im patient when they ask me to pull to spot 1 for 2 cheeseburgers fries and a sprite ( for my daughter who is at work about to take her lunch break at a local campground). I sit for 4 to 5 minutes, nothing. No one brings this very small order out. We maybe they are waiting on fries🤷♀️ but then i see 4, 5, 6 people from the drivethru behind me pulling out. Im like what the heck so, i go in, thinking maybe they forgot..im not irrate yet. Im walk up to the yellow box..minute or 2 goes by not one person acknowledges me, not the cashier who walked by me 5 times or the manager who looked at me multiple times. I hear a kid, nice kid say " i dont think we have done these yet" pointing to the 2 orders that are stuck up there clearly marjed 1 and 2. I yell out.." no you havent, ive been sitting out there in spot 1 for a long time". He nods acknowledging i said this...as they all continue to pack orders after orders after orders for prob 3 more minutes. A lady customer beside me says, " you' ve been standing here a long time!". I said, extremely loudly this time " yes ive been standing here for a long time and waited outside even longer for 2 cheeseburgers and fries". Still packed a few more orders then finally the kid brings me the bag, i lost my shit. Not one person spoke to me, acknowledged that i waited a very long time, workers, managers nothing. I was soooo mad as i grabbed it and stormed off with everyone staring at me . Ughhhhh needless to say my daughters lunch was over and such. Maybe a person that works here will see this and pay attention next time and a manager will do HIS job but...
Read moreHonestly if I could rate this store 0 Stars I would. The morning staff is amazing at this store. But the night shift is terrible they all have attitudes and have no customer service what’s so ever. The only person that ever has a decent attitude is the male manager and that’s unacceptable. The food that I ordered tonight was absolutely disgusting, I got the 2 for $6 tonight and my brother got the Chrispy chicken meal. My nuggets were super soggy and cold they seem like they weren’t even held in a hot held and they were made 3 hours ago. The fries were also still raw. The fries had no color to them and they were so soft and gross. The thing that makes this so upsetting is that the order taker had a terrible attitude and seemed like she hated her job. As a former GM this stuff is not acceptable for a company to entertain.
The younger gentleman that was at the window and gave out the food was very nice and had a good attitude. The whole time that we were at the window the female manager in the grey polo working bagging area was giving dirty looks instead of smiles. I know you’re working but that is not an exscuse when they make more than the only worker that had a...
