Ike's Love & Sandwiches — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

I've always like Ike's. But this location never gets our order right, so I won't be going to this location anymore. For the prices they charge these days, they should be able to get it right. We go in person, because they NEVER get online ordering right. My daughter asked for no sauce on the sandwich. Before paying, she asked again, are you SURE there will be no sauce? Yes, of course, we have it right. We get home, there is sauce on the sandwich. Yes, we should have checked before leaving. But who wants to open everything up, peel open the sandwich, and verify, then close it back up and go home? There were no other customers in the store, and just two people working there. How could they get this wrong? And I had tipped them nicely at the register! So this was a $17+ turkey sandwich that my daughter basically didn't want to eat. I hope there are other Ike's locations who still can take an order correctly. This one...

Just want to make sure this review is not about the sandwiches it is about the staffs in this location. Today after having a dental follow up which is next to this shop i went to order one for my kid. I order one veggies and soon after payment i started observing the staff smiling (not a friendly simile) and soon after all 3 staffs look at the order after the guy took my order told them something and look at me and give a typical smile. I am now sure either i order something wrong with this kind of behavior. I went to this shop after looking into all review about the nice food but got disappointed with the staffs behavior and had to leave the food in garbage as i did not have greatest experience. My go to sandwich place has finally come to Sunnyvale. Ike's is great for a warm sandwich on soft tasty bread with a wild variety of toppings. It's also nice that I can take my veggie and vegan family with me and I'll occasionally grab a veggie sandwich myself. It's rare to get something without meat that satisfies me, but Ike's does it somehow. That said, the Menage sandwich is my go to and always makes me happy. I've done large orders for the office and for birthday parties and both crowds were very happy. My only feedback for the location is that it would be nice to be able to buy kids' sandwiches through the order ahead app. I imagine they don't do it to prevent adults from buying them, but really it just makes it hard for me to pre-order a family meal...
