I visited this spot for the first time despite passing it many many times on my rides back and forth to the Bay trail. I was happy when it opened since it was closed during the pandemic, I believe taquerias should be available in all neighborhoods. I ordered the asada super burrito to go. The cashier was friendly and brought the food out to me on my bike when it was ready. I thought the burrito was a little pricey, but you can tell by the picture it's quite large. I'll definitely get two meals out of it and probably could have gotten three if I didn't stuff myself. It was also very tasty. The beef had a good char flavor and the tortilla was packed with avocados, beans, rice and cheese. With so many great talk ideas around, it's hard to choose but I would certainly order here again on my way by.

This place is great. I have been searching for a good carne asada burrito since moving here from San Diego and I finally found it. Meat, guacamole and pico, that's it. Their salsa bar is top notch as well with multiple options, pickled carrots/jalapenos and a creamy/spicy jalapeno/cilantro salsa that they should bottle and sell! Plenty of seating and a patio if you want to eat outside. It's attached to a market also that has great produce, including avocados from CA, unique hot sauces from Mexico, and a meat counter where they'll marinade carne asada fresh at a great price. They also have a delicious bakery for breads and sweets including traditional pan dulces, cookies, bread, chocolate muffins and flan. This entire place is amazing and local gem for sure.

**Best Chicken Burrito 5/5 Chef Kiss** **Asada Burrito: 4.2-4.5 stars** The charred asada delivers good umami flavors. While the rice is lackluster, the beans are satisfying. The red and avocado sauces elevate this burrito by 0.3 stars, making it amazing when combined. **Chicharron Street Taco: 4.6 stars** This taco boasts deep flavors from the tomato and chile guero it's cooked in, with a crispy tortilla. Although I prefer the meat cut into long rectangles or hand-cracked pork rind rather than squares, the skin appears fresh rather than dried, and it lacks pork meat, being purely skin. It's really good, and I need to try it in a burrito.

Came here for lunch around 1:30 pm on a Saturday, after my friend and I went on a hike in the area and were craving tacos. Thought it would be a good choice, since it has 4 stars. But it left my friend and I full, though still hungry. It’s one of those situations where the food wasn’t satisfying enough to be “full”. Ordered Carne aside Plate ($14.99), Carnitas taco, al pastor taco. Al pastor taco was very different from what I’m used to, because it had a slight orange color to it. Carnitas was okay. I just wished they had onions in the salsas and chips bar to add on. Parking: The shop is located in a plaza, so there’s a shared parking lot. If the parking is full, there is also street parking in front of the parking lot. Service: Okay. The cashier was having another conversation with other workers when taking down my friend’s order, so it was no surprise that when she got her plates, some of the tacos were wrong. She had asked for no salsa on any of her tacos, but only 1 came out with no sauce. Best Part: Choice of hot sauces. They had my favorite hot sauce, El Yucateco, though they all were almost empty. I was okay with it though because there were two of them that I combined to cover my plates. Worst Part: Chip bar & food taste. Chip bar was poorly maintained as in the chips stored weren’t hot, and they were portioned into small trays. The salsas were nearly empty when I was there (see images). I’m just used to the “help yourself” kind of chip bars. Food taste was just a little disappointing because it left both my friend and I hungry for more, though we physically couldn’t eat more. Tip: Try looking elsewhere if you’re interested in tasty food. But if you’re just coming here because you’re hungry, then it’ll do. Return: Probably not, I’ll search a nearby for...

Went on a Sunday afternoon. Food was excellent (at least for our visit. I've seen reviews that say otherwise). The Chilli relleano was the best that I have had in a long time. Chimichanga tons of meat (asked for no beans) and the most flavorful ever. Wife had the shrimp Ranchero plate with tons of very fresh, flavorful shrimp and an excellent sauce.

The menu states that the prices just went up significantly in November, if so they must have been really inexpensive before. The prices are on par with other local establishments and the portions are more generous. This is Mexican food the way it should be.

Lupe at register was especially charming, even to go so far as to prepare us a special desert that is not yet on the menu, kudos!

So, highly recommended. I can not speak to the food during the week when other cooks may be there, but we were very pleased.

Lunch I understand is very busy. This is my new answer to other local Mexican restaurants that want to charge an arm and a leg and give you nothing. The same family has a market that looked quite nice, a beauty salon any a really very pleasant Mexican bakery at the same location. The bakery too appears to bake from scratch, it's goods were excellent and reasonably priced.

Try it,...

Hidden Burrito Gem In Sunnyvale, not a lot of people know it except the locals. I lived in Sunnyvale for over a year before I found it. I love a good burrito and will drive for a good one. To this day all the people I bring here are shocked how they didn;t know about this place. It's hidden in this little residential neighborhood strip mall right off of 101. They have both indoor seating and a patio, partially covered. Good Salsa, and Yes they are also on DoorDash. Next time you have a burrito or Real Mexican food craving give this place a try. If you hungry you get a Burrito, they are around $10 bucks and worth every penny, I also recommend the Gorditas and Tacos for to-go. If your looking for a ton of food for a good price check out the Fajitas, best when served in the restaurant because it comes out on a skillet and keeps everything hot until your done. Try it, you won't regret it! Only Cons are parking can be busy depending when you go due to the mini-store next door and the location its not a late night place. Make sure you get you orders...
