My family and I went to the Superior, WI Applebees on 7/24. We had the absolute worst service I have ever received in my entire life. We were greeted right away by a sweet hostess who showed us to our table, gave us our menus, and told us that our server would be with us in a moment. It was all downhill from there. We sat there for a couple minutes patiently waiting, trying to keep our three year old entertained and looking at the new tablets they had on the table. About 10 minutes went by and still no server. We looked around the restaurant and there weren’t very many customers so the delay in response was a little confusing to us. I found a button on the tablet that “called” our server and about 5 minutes after that the manager walked by and saw the light flashing and told us that our server was Ryan and that he would be with us shortly. She asked us if she could get us drinks while we were waiting and we gave her our drink order. She came right back with the apple juice for our 3 year old which was fantastic, but our drinks took a while, which being that they were bar drinks we expected as much, but we never received the water we asked for in addition to the alcoholic beverages. The manager delivered us our alcoholic beverages and asked us if we wanted to place our order with her. So we placed our order. When we received our food the steak was WELL done, which she never asked me how I would like my steak prepared and I forgot to mention so I would say that was a mistake on both ends. My husband was also not impressed with the quality of his food. My three year old seemed to like his though. I did not have the opportunity to correct the steak error as no one came by to ask us how our food was, if we wanted any refills or additional beverages, or anything like that. It wasn’t until we were finished eating and looked like we were ready for the bill did the server come by. He apologized for not stopping by earlier and said he was just really busy making drinks. He asked if he could get us a check and I said, “that would be great, thank you.” I put my card out on top of the check and waited for another 5-10 minutes and thought I saw something on the tablet about paying your bill and decided it would be easier to just do it that way. We paid and left. My husband and I have worked in restaurants for MANY years, we are very polite, patient, and tip well. We understand if service was lacking because a server was extremely busy, but that was not what happened. They had two servers on the other side of the restaurant just talking away with barely any tables in their section, one female server in our sections who was incredibly busy with her tables and we had the bartender as a server who had almost no one at the bar and one other table besides us who was there before us and he managed to stop by their table at least 3 or 4 times to check on them. As for the manager, I was incredibly disappointed by the fact that she had other servers who seemed to have all the time in the world and she never reassigned us to one of those. To sum it up, the manager came by to take our drink order and our food order and the server came by to get us a check, he also forgot to ask us if we needed any boxes for my son’s food. We tried to get his attention but once he left the table he was gone. The food wasn’t that great and service was extremely poor. I will never go back and I sure won’t let my friends go...
Read moreI often order takeout from this Applebees on UberEats and they just... cannot ever get my order right. The past five times I've ordered from this location, my order was wrong FOUR out of five times. They usually don't give the driver the drink I ordered, and this time they just gave me the completely wrong sides with my food altogether. There's a complete lack of quality control and it's getting increasingly frustrating.
I don't necessarily blame the employees because they're probably underpaid and overworked and believe me, I get that, I really do, but this big of a margin of error is just unacceptable. Hire more people so your employees can take the time to make sure an order is actually correct before blindly sending it away with the driver. Take an extra two seconds to see if a drink goes with the order. Please, do better. This level of carelessness is embarrassing.
At the end of the day it's just food and if this was something that happened once or twice I wouldn't really care, but when almost every order turns out wrong in some way, something has to change.
If you like to order takeout, be very careful when ordering from this location and double check your order when you receive it.

Read moreThis would have possibly be a 5 star with a chance I got a different waiter. Off the bat have a dirty look like we were a problem possible because of racial issues. We were seated and given are menus to have some time to think and when we got more time she never came back for a while. When she came back she never gave any kindness of contact more of someone trying to rush them out of here because of who we are. We’ve have been waiting almost over a hour and only have had 3 appetizers and when she saw we finished we wanted to order more but gave us the check on purpose. We didn’t say anything about being finish but she offered dessert and here’s the check so we had to stop her and say we are still ordering more. When she heard that she gave us this disgust look like what the hell they’re not leaving yet. This was probably the most worst service ever and this will not go unnoticed and this is not how you treat your customers. Ps my portion size for my boneless wings are unbelievable let alone Appetizing but still had to eat because we had no other food. The time of dine is 9PM The servers name is Charlie.
