Placed an online order for my wife to pick up. She brought it home and one side was missing and what we got was not correct. Also, the mashed potatoes were supposed to be larges, but the containers were less than half full. Called and was told “well I’m sure you don’t want to come back, so…” which is where I interrupted and said that yes, I will indeed come back because I have hungry kids who are upset that the food they wanted wasn’t in the bag.
Sorry, it’s not your place to assume what I want. Let me make that decision as to how I’d like this corrected. You just giving me a refund isn’t going to get food to my kids.
I chose to go back and get the missing food from my order. Upon going inside, multiple employees made direct eye contact with me and ignored me, and kept going about whatever they were doing. I stood there for at least 5 minutes before I was acknowledged, with employees looking directly at me multiple times. None of them were even the ones who actually came up to ask how they could help me, it was the manager from the back.
This wasn’t the end, though! Upon telling her I was there to pick up the missing sides, I was handed a bag that was STILL MISSING A SIDE!! She took responsibility and said she forgot to tell the girls working the grill that I needed those items, and then I still had to wait because apparently they needed to make more?
Finally one of the girls working was wearing food handlers gloves but was also using her cell phone with the gloves on. This obviously defeats the purpose of wearing gloves if you’re just touching your personal items anyway with the gloves on.
Overall this was one of the most horrific experiences I’ve had with any fast food restaurant in my life. I will absolutely not be returning to this location and will be reaching out to either KFC Corporate or the Franchise Owner to inform them that they need to either clean house with competent employees and management or just close this...
Read moreI'm so disappointed in KFC I went through the drive-thru ordered a four-piece meal got it home pulled it out of the bag to carry it from the kitchen counter to the kitchen table and the bottom fell out of the box that chicken had been sitting in there for so long that grease soaked the bottom of the box and the bottom exploded out and my chicken went all over the place. This wasn't just a employee making a mistake this was complete disregard for that business. the bottom fell out of my box of chicken 5 minutes after I got it home. The only thing that saved the mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw from being all over the place is that KFC's got some pretty stout Lids on their cold slaw other then that would have been all over the floor. And the mashed potatoes were cold and the coleslaw was warm the one bite I took of it. It was so warm that I was afraid that it was spoiled. I don't want the free food I don't want the free meal I want the owner of that business or the manager of that business to take a good look at his employees because they are doing him no favor. In my opinion this is a fireable offense the employees working that night need to be fired that is just ridiculous unacceptable. The bottom of the box was so greasy that it collapsed and my chicken went everywhere so that had to have been sitting in there for a very long time. I tried to call down to the store they didn't answer the phone, so I'll be paying the manager a visit on Monday this all occurred on October 26th 2024 7:30 p.m. so what do you call this KFC I was the only person in the Drive-Thru and there wasn't one single person in the store other than the employees and I got that kind of service and that kind of food at 7:30 at night you think those people working there looking out for KFC oh I hardly think so. Unfortunately, in the drive thru per a sign stated that they only accepted cash so I went to the front to confirm if the at specific store was only accepting cash?! They stated that through the front they can do card. Fine, I went to the front and ordered the 8 piece fill up family box. I came home did not have my cole slaw but also there was only thighs and drumsticks. I come to kfc maybe once a month and I get chicken breast as well. So, I called to complain about the cole slaw and the breast. Per Perla the manager in store at the time the 8 piece family fill up only came with drums and thighs. I advised I come every month and this was not the case she proceeded to state that it’s been like this forever and that they were franchise. I went online to just make sure and online it gave me the option for the standard box or drums and thighs. I was confused so I called again. Perla proceeded to tell me that the standard box had a variety of all meats. So, I advised what I was seeing online she that told me that the information online was incorrect so I advised that’s false advertising. I also mentioned to her that I input my address before seeing what deals were available and those deals came up . She failed to honor what was online which was annoying and frustrating.
