After a friend who had been there once recommended me to go, I decided to stop by and check out their SCX24 products. Looking for an alternate hobby since I've tied up thousands in fishing and tens of thousands in diesel performance, I figured RC would be fitting.
After walking into the shop, it was a very friendly atmosphere, lots of smiles, and an employee behind the counter handling a warranty claim for a customer (stellar customer service, I'm in the automotive industry and these can be a bear). Not once did I walk pass an employee without being asked "Have you been helped, sir?"
I decided after buying my SCX24 and doing some mild mods to ask if I could use their 1/10th - 1/24th crawler course to test my mods. I was greeted with a cheerful "Absolutely!". After making my way down there, I had realized I spent appx. 2.5 hours playing on this course with my new rig I had acquired a few days earlier. Not once did I feel uncomfortable for being there too long, nor did I feel rushed to leave, nor did I ever feel as I was in the way even though I had been a couple times. Everybody here has a great attitude and over-hearing some interactions with employees-customers, the customer service here in exemplary.
99% of prices are comparable to online, and to be quite honest, I'd rather pay a markup just to stop by and crawl my Gladiator, meet new people, and talk to the employees versus saving $10-$20.
I will return and recommend these guys to everyone. Thanks to everyone at Turn and Burn for doing such a great job. It's...
Read moreI originally called to check if a part I needed was in stock and was told I had to come into the store in person to find out. I made the tripâonly to be told they didnât have it. Not the best start.
Event on 2/8/2025 While at the store, I saw they were advertising an event for that day, so I decided to attend with my wife and a friend. What we walked into was total chaos. The parking lot was dark, with ramps set up for RC cars to bash around. There was zero supervision or controlâit was basically a free-for-all.
Unfortunately, a kid lost control and slammed his RC car into my foot at full speed, right in front of everyone. Several attendees came to check on me and expressed concern, some even mentioned it to the staff. But not once did a staff member or the owner come over to ask if I was okay.
This lack of responsibility and oversight is dangerous. My foot is badly bruisedâblack and purple. Thankfully, I donât believe itâs broken, but if I end up needing medical attention, I may have no choice but to seek legal advice to cover the costs.
This event could have ended much worse. Someone could have been seriously injured. Until this shop improves its event organization and prioritizes basic safety and accountability, I wonât be attending any more of their gatherings.
Just my honest experienceâtake it for...
Read moreDrove down from Chino Valley today just to see this shop. My husband is all about RC stuff (cars & boats mainly) so when heâd seen that YouTube video, talking about this placeâYea, we made that trip. Hubby wouldnât stop asking when! 𤣠LOL! Took a bit fs, but I have to say? WOW! The drive was worth it. Compared to all the other âRCâ shops weâve been to? This one blows them ALL out of the water. The whole left wall is just FULL. I didnât have much to do there, but my hubbs was like a kid in a candy store nearly drooling lmao! Ps, for us wives: They have a plane flying game to play with, if u get rly bored while you wait for your hubby đ N they always have some random cars driving around! I got to watch 2 guys zoom their car around the front of the storeâs lot at one pt. Overall tho? FANTASTIC experience. We WILL be back! Especially since we heard you guys do events? Weâll be checking ur FB page often! TLDR: Hubbs is VERY happy with his new car. Everyone we spoke to was nothing but the best kind of ppl. Thank you truly to the team here. Come here if you need...
