So this is a positive review, but let me begin by saying that I have never once had a good Buffalo wild wings experience.
No matter what location, no matter what day, no matter what time I'm always greeted by someone who looks like they don't care, they're annoyed Im there, and they have zero hustle.
Same with the service. Consistently horrible service. My wife literally refuses to go to Buffalo wild wings no matter how good of a deal it is because it's guaranteed to be the worst experience.
I don't know what Kool-Aid they're drinking at the surprise location, but the whole rest of the entire company needs to be drinking it. It was bar none not only the best BWW experience but an excellent one overall, maybe even better than most places I go.
The host who greeted us when we walked in was kind, smiled and suggested we sit at the bar so we could serve right away. Wish I could remember his name but it was 05/06/25 at 5:30pm so look him up.
Jasmin our server was lovely. I had swung by the restroom on the way to our table for a very very quick stop and she was already taking my buddy's drink order by the time I got to the table. She was smiling and pleasant and we were already off to a good start.
We ordered the all you can eat wings and fries. I got the traditional. My buddy got the boneless
At this point my Buffalo wild wings skepticism had already planned on this being an unfun experience where I would be sitting there, hoping the server comes by where they take 20 minutes per order of more wings to bring them out in order to frustrate me into eating less and leaving.
However, Jasmin was incredibly attentive. I was probably halfway through my first order of 10 when she asked me if me and my buddy wanted more. I ordered another serving of spicy garlic and surprisingly it was to the table by the time I was done eating the rest of the wings.
I was probably three wings into the spicy garlics when she asked me if I wanted more. I ordered jammin jalapeno and I probably ate one wing by the time the next order came out. Dang
During the time of our meal Jasmin probably swung by our table to check on us to see if we wanted more wings or more drinks or if everything was meeting our expectations 15 times.
So all that to say is not only was she amazing, but I was blown away with how quickly the kitchen was bringing out food. Much quicker than any Buffalo wild wings experience I've ever had. It usually feels like you entered a slow motion zone.
As far as my observation of the restaurant as a whole, every server seemed pleasant. They were moving quickly and seemed dedicated to doing a good job.
I think back to the quote I remember from Remember The Titans, "attitude is a reflection of leadership".
I can only assume that by some anomaly the owner operator of this restaurant is of a different caliber than any other BWW I've been to cuz it shows in the attitude and the level service I saw happening both at my table and all around me.
This place deserves a...
Read moreI wish that I could say that this one-star review is a little dramatic, but today was hands down the worst food-service experience I have ever had. I placed my online order well in advance (about an hour and twenty-five minutes before the time I scheduled to pick it up). I arrived at the BWW location and was told it would be just a minute before I was helped. The two hosts standing behind the carry-out counter looked like they were taking a menu test or doing some sort of training which is fine, I didn't have a huge issue with this. I then get charged out, my gift card balance is relayed to me and I am again told I will have to wait a minute before my order is ready. It is 1:44 PM; they had over an hour to make sure my order was ready. The restaurant wasn't even busy, no one was running around and the dining area was nowhere near full; maybe 7 families in the whole place that I could see. I get my food at 1:56 and they generously upgrade my drink from a 20oz to a 32oz because of the wait. I know better than this, but I didn't check my bag before taking off. I get back to work on the other end of Surprise, barely making it back in time before my break ends and open up my bag, look in the box and the wings are barely covered in sauce. Literally, I don't even think they took the five seconds to lightly toss the wings in sauce. I bite into the first wing and straight down to the bone is just dark, red chicken meat. Barely warm, clearly not cooked through and so I open the rest up with my hands and they're all this way. One of them, even, bright red and still has some juicy blood in the center near the bone. So I call to speak with the manager and I get some guy named Scott. He is less than eager to offer apologies, makes an excuse as to why the chicken isn't cooked and offers to replace my meal "next time". I inform him I am not at all interested in coming back to this location because, honestly, this isn't the first time I have had mediocre service, but I wanted to use my gift card so I gave them another try. He begrudgingly offers a "sorry, I don't know what might have happened in the kitchen." Not like they care to lose one customer, but this is disgusting. My order wasn't ready upon pickup (the least of my worries in this whole thing), the food was way under-cooked to the point it was still juicy with red bloodiness and I got the most lame "sorry" from who is supposed to be running their kitchen and staff. Thanks, Scott, for offering to fix it, but your poor customer service skill and lack of care for health and safety is...
Read moreSo this review is for a visit a few years ago, that has stuck with me and put me off BWW basically since it occurred - which is a huge problem, as I used to be a regular customer. I visited this location with my best friend and their wife, around 10 o'clock in the evening. The place wasn't particularly packed, around 2/3rds, with no sporting events or anything occurring. Just a boring night out.
I ordered a burger and fries, they got as I recall wings and chicken. Again, typical food, nothing fancy, nothing complicated. And drinks, of course. As we waited, we saw other patrons order after us and receive their food before us. This occurred for over an hour before the wife was pissed off enough to flag down a waitress and request the manager. The conversation was cordial but with the obvious undertone of 'where the ** is our food, that table, that table, and that table ordered and received their meals half an hour ago'. I suggested we just leave, but after another 20 minutes, our meals arrived. By this point the restaurant was emptying out, and the people who ordered after us had already finished their meals and left.
Now I don't want to say that this location had/has an issue with the waitstaff and perhaps the management being... lets say "problematic". I am very obviously physically (and otherwise) disabled, and all three of us are LGBT. I tried to defend the staff for the first 45 minutes or so, but ran out of excuses. Prior visits to this location, we had our food in 15-20 minutes. But when it takes 4x that/80min, and you can see other customers are being prioritized over you, it's obvious.
A year before this visit, I rated this location 4/5 stars. Since then, I'd go anywhere else. It was the last time we visited this location. I'm still angry about this, years later.
This wasn't the only instance/location of ("alleged") discrimination that occurred at a BWW location, either. Though in this instance, at least we didn't have staff argue with us, mock us, and throw things at us, so this actually isn't my worst experience at BWW.
Just go somewhere else....
