This company took my money and offered me no compensation of any kind. Let me tell you the story...
I placed an order for me and my girlfriend online on may 24th for two burritos at 3:30pm. That is one month before writing this review. When I arrived, the store was closed 5 1/2 hours early with no explanation.
After being persistant they finally came to the door. The manager was rude and told me he would have to issue a refund. No appology or anything. I was understanding at the time.
I called back the next day and the manager told me I would have to wait 3-5 business days for the refund to go through. So I did, I waited 8 business days. So now I call corporate and ask for a refund. The nice lady I spoke to told me that the manager did not issue a refund but that she would initiate the refund, and that I would recieve the money back in 5-7 business days. So I waited, 7 business days and no refund. That is a lot of waiting.
Now when I call corporate they say they can't help because it has been too long. When I call the store they tell me the General Manger only comes in for a 1-2 hours a week. After calling the store every day, I started calling the other stores in the area to find out where this general manager is. He surely must be working somewhere.
I found out from an employee at a different store that he is the general manager of both the Pleasant Hill location and the Snellville location and his name is Cam. I could not confirm this information though because belive it or not, out of all the stores I called these are the only stores that do not answer their phone. Strange coincidence.
They stole my money and wasted my time. They could have easily offered me a store credit if you did not want to give me my money back and I probably would have been cool with that. I disputed the charge with my bank as a last resort. I would not use this company's online system as they seem to be using it to scam people out of their money.
I will update this review if I am ever able to get my money back or get any form of...
Read morePlaced an online order for quesadillas specified no bacon. Picked up the order got home and my quesadilla was full of bacon. I called the restaurant right away, the employee who answered the phone repeatedly told me that there was no bacon on my quesadilla. I reassured her it was and that I would bring the order back. This employee was super rude and hostile over the phone. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to call corporate and let them handle it since I placed the order online. Most restaurants would have simply suggested bringing the order back and allowing them to remake it but not this one. After she hung up on me, I drove back to Moe’s with my order and showed her the bacon along with my receipt that had all of the other items I requested in my quesadilla. Of course bacon wasn’t listed on the order. Did she apologize??? NO! She AGAIN told me to call corporate. I demanded she call the corporate office right then and there. She implied she didn’t have the number. I asked for the store manager or owners info. She placed a call on her cellphone to the store manager named Al. Al was very polite and helpful and assured me that I did not need to contact corporate and that he would refund me for my order as soon as he returned to the store. Al did refund me as he said he would. This was my first visit to this particular location but I will never go back. Employees need to be retrained not fired. I understand working in the restaurant industry can be challenging but customer satisfaction should always be the answer. This employee will ruin this establishment with her negative and...
Read moreMy family went to Moe’s on may 18th 6.30pm We were greeted by a menu with cute names for the dishes. (That was the high point of the meal.) I ordered an overachiever’s combo. With this I received two tacos and some chips (many broken – I’m guessing from the bottom of the bag – I was under the impression something more came with the meal but the beans were going to be put on taco so I really do not know if I received the whole combo or not). My son ordered fajita’s next, he was greeted with a lump of taco meat. (This was indeed a stroke of luck for him, since he left and went next door for Chinese – he had a very good meal.) Not so lucky for my husband since he took the fajitas or ground taco meat. The final order was another overachiever combo. So for just under $30 we received 4 tacos, three drinks, broken chips, a lump of meat with three tortillas and a reprimand from the cashier (my son said she gave me very dirty looks when I asked for salsa to go with the chips and which size cup I was suppose to take for the drinks.) Then we went to set down. The floor had trash a variety of broken chips on it. I’m really not sure how this place is doing business, for about the same price we could have gone to Don Pablo’s. Although the concept of Moe’s seems good, the reality is that it the equivalent of a low end but more expensive Taco Bell. The food did taste okay – we ate it – just left you wanting something so we did enjoy Tums for dessert. We will...
