Pizza Villa — Restaurant in Swedesboro

As a professional, it is my duty to report on the quality of an establishment's offerings. Recently, I have been disappointed by my visits to this particular establishment. While I have enjoyed their offerings in the past, it seems that there may have been some changes in their recipes or preparation methods. The substitution of romaine lettuce I had previously for shredded lettuce in their subs was a major disappointment, and the pizza I recently sampled was not up to par. The pizza was greasy, cheese easily fell off the slice, and was overall bland, indicating a lack of attention to quality in its preparation.

I am not sure if there have been changes in the way they prepare their food or if there are other factors at play, but my recent visits have not met my expectations. However, I believe in giving establishments the opportunity to improve and will return at a later date to see if there has been any improvement. I live right next to a pizza place but was in this area for work, so I decided to stop by for lunch. I got 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and Mann, it put the pizza by my house to shame..

Not only was the pizza itself good (I usually don't eat the crust but I ate it this time. Plus the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect too) but they were really generous with the pepperoni. The whole pizza was covered and there was even pepperoni on top of pepperonis.. And they we're a little smaller but also thicker than the pepperoni at my local place.

When Google popped up asking for my review as I left I figured they deserved it. And also, because I don't think I said it enough.. -...

I’ve come to this business 3 times this month and every time i saw their bread sitting outside out back. Truly disgusting to be serving bread that’s getting touched by god knows what.

UPDATE in response to the owners comment… one i’ve had my account since 2014 this is not made to “make negative comments” i don’t need to spruce up my gmail account this isn’t social media😂 also i took a picture on my latest visit clearly showing no covering there may be plastic in the box but it is most definitely not COVERING anything

moral of the story it’s nasty and should be handled...
