Apparently there is a communication problem between Google and your store... Opening at 7 am on Google, and on site written at 8 am on Saturday... You have changed the hours for Saturday... The pastries were already present on the counter before 7 am … The ladies saw me and another customer waiting and did not communicate… I knocked and the Boss opened, we asked if it was open and he said at 8 am, we explained to him that on Google it was It was 7 am, another car with customers also arrived on site… He told us do you live far away? The customer next door said next door and I answered Blue Ash… Weird question to ask this question to customers, where is the connection? People have a program, children or work and etc, so the question is off topic... He told us to go into the store, we asked him if he was sure, he replied I feel the pressure... Wow! Lack of professionalism… I am from France, Chef owner, and this way of communicating is terrible… We then decided not to enter and to leave… When I was young in France the baker passed the croissants through the window still warm with a smile, hence the point of coming early for some customers... a bakery that opens at 8 a.m., I’ve never seen that šŸ¤¦šŸ» You are still very far from learning the culture, I will never come to your...

tl;dr: I'd give it 6 stars if it was possible. Seriously, stop reading this review and go buy some pastries.

Boosalis is a great example of a local business worth supporting.

First, the food is seriously delicious. The french pastries are so well executed - the ham and cheese croissant is amazingly crispy, the sticky buns have a fantastic citrus glaze, the Kouign-amanns are perfectly buttery, and the list goes on. Don't sleep on their breads - they don't have many of them, and don't have them on Sundays, but they're seriously good.

Then, there's pricing. They are really fair! Much lower than other high quality bakeries in the Cincinnati area. And their $1.50 french baguettes? I almost feel bad buying it for so cheap.

Last, but not least, comes the service. Matt, the owner, and his team are really fantastic. They take the time to welcome you, answer any of your questions, give you samples, and walk you through their selections. It's not uncommon to get there and see the owner or the staff walking a customer back to their car with a bag of pastries.

Seriously, Boosalis rocks! Now that you've made it through the end of this review, go get...

WOW! Blown away at how delicious everything from Boosalis was! My husband and I went in on a whim last week and the baker was there and suggested we try a few items. He gave us samples of many bakery items and we ended up buying just about every one of his suggestions! We have been thinking about the Kouign-Amann pastries all week and decided we needed to go back this weekend! We ended up getting more of the Kouign-Amann and then a bunch of other pastries that we were not planning on, but man was it worth it! The ham and cheese croissant is the BEST ham and cheese croissant I have ever had and now I will have to go back and get both the Kouign-Amann and the ham and cheese croissant, not to mention probably try something new each time too! I will say, the first time we went about 2 hours before closing and the selection was scarce (as expected), but today we went around 9:30am and the selection was HUGE and every little thing we bought was perfect! We will...

Boosalis has the *best butter croissants in town*. And I know that for sure because I did a croissant crawl this summer and tried a dozen different local bakeries. So buttery, flaky, crispy, yet chewy, the perfect size… love them! Plus the most delicious kouign-amanns (a must-get every time), cinnamonny morning rolls, fruity cheesy danish, baguettes, coffee cake, etc. Their raspberry pinwheel is another favorite. You walk in the door and it smells so good and everything looks so tasty too. We most recently got their ham and cheese croissants and the cashier told us he likes to add a fried egg to the center… OMG, our worlds are rocked - that was the most scrumptious breakfast we’ve had in recent memory. Just when we thought Boosalis couldn’t be any better than it already was!

Follow me for more adventures! I first went here about two weeks ago. Since then I've been back a couple of times. I've taken my friends. They've gone back and taken their friends. Go, take your friends. You will have zero regrets. 5⭐ - service! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. The pastry chef even gave me a tour. 5⭐ - food! Everything I have eaten has been beyond wonderful. They use only top quality ingredients here. At this point I think I have eaten just about everything they have. It's all been perfect. I just cannot say enough positive things about this place. Honestly, I can't wait for morning so I can go back and discover the next wonderful pastry. šŸ™‚ ā¬‡ļø If you found this review helpful, hit the šŸ‘
