The Cheesecake Factory is located on Montgomery Road, OH, within the Kenwood Towne Center. Trust me, this is a very busy place! It can get so crowded that you could see people either waiting for their turns inside the restaurant, standing either in line or seated in the front side limited seating area or even outside in the few chairs provided in the mall lobby. There are two entrances, one from the Montgomery Road parking or through an outlet within the mall entrance.
Upon check-ins, you would provide both your name and cellphone number. The front desk person would then provide you a timeline for your average wait. It would normally be 30-40 minutes or even 40-45 minutes. It could also happen at very busy times and especially during the weekends! You could just stroll inside the mall and keep a check for their text messages, which they usually send you once seats are available.
There is a separate cake shop/bakery at the front besides a bar. You could also reserve your seats calling them or checking online. There is a certain limit of guests on a table for the dine in patrons' seating and reservations, if I amn't mistaken. Cheesecake Rewards Members also have certain privileges such as a free cheesecake loaf on their birthdays or even some specials, later sent to your e-mails, if you have signed up for it! The restaurant has also updated their rewards policies from their previous points system. The entrees are somewhat expensive. The food quality is great, though! You should quite enjoy the time spent. Of course, there could be exceptions.
There is a wide selection of items on their menu. You would then have to choose among them. Upon check-in, you would be escorted to your respective seats. I would suggest, you choose the slightly bigger and wider tables which have an extent of privacy as well. The other tables are slightly smaller right behind or in front of the bar area or just facing the kitchen.
The Cheesecake Factory has a great selection of items. You could place the orders based on your preferences. I was really surprised to even find Chicken Samosas once on their menu, the very first time I had it a restaurant, sometime back! It was really refreshing and a unique experience during my visit! I haven't seen them since, as they seem to revamp their menu. It's a pretty good thing, quite surprising and besides you also have variety! You could find a limited selection of either Thai, Italian or some other oriental cuisines or their seafood items on their menu. It's helpful as it tends to help the guests as per their specific choices.
Let's order. They always provide you with two different kinds of breads, either the sourdough or the kind of rye ones. They are also accompanied by butter. You also get more refills, if you want! I would usually go for the sourdough ones, as they are more softer compared to the rye kind. It's also ideal to dip into your soups, if you prefer.
It's highly advisable to start with their wonderful and yummy Mexican Chicken Tortilla Soup which comes in two sizes. You could also order the Chicken Taquitos, which comes as a small portion, but also good as a starter to try. Of course, these are for non-vegetarians. There is a limited offering of vegetarian items. So, you won't be totally disappointed! A California Omelet is a very good buy and quite filling. There are certain all day breakfast items on the menu as well. Cheesecake Factory also offers breakfast/brunch on weekends until 2:00 P.M.
Finally, don't forget to order Cheesecakes for which there is a wide selection. You could order either the Original one (Slightly cheaper) as compared to the Red Velvet Cheesecake or even choose from a bunch of other choices. Please don't forget to tip your hostess who cared for you. You could do this as per your preferences. The restaurant also provides a short preferred list of suggested gratuity payments on your final bill, which has also been recently updated. You are still free to make your decision based on your own discretion...
Read moreI visited this cheesecake factory with my mother for lunch around noon on a Wednesday. I wanted to share our experience! The wait: A Table for two was about a 20-30 minute wait, and they text you when your table is ready. The Table: The table we were to be sat at was a booth, however it was so small my mother and I were unable to fit in the booth. Both my mother and I are on the heavier side, which usually does not pose an issue as we can move the table more towards my side, however this table was bolted down leaving very little room between the table and the seat. We asked politely if we could change tables as we physically could not sit at this one, and the host made a very big deal and acted as though our request was absolutely impossible. Thankfully, he was able to find us a seat that was half booth half table, but only after making quite a large stink about it. The Food: My mother ordered a cheese stuffed burger with sweet potato fries, and I ordered the lemon garlic shrimp off the skinnylicious menu. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive. My shrimp came with pasta and asparagus and the waitress even sprinkled fresh parmesan overtop. Overall my meal tasted excellent, was a bit on the cold side, but satisfied me greatly. My mother's burger had been cut in half, which ended up causing the cheese, which was supposed to be inside the burger, to spill out onto the plate. Her fries arrived rather cold and we're not crunchy but more soft and rubbery. The Service: The host was very rude to us when we asked to switch tables, but otherwise the service was fine. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and did a great job. When she discovered my mother's food wasn't to her liking she offered to have it remade however my mother was fine just eating it as it. At the end of the meal she even gave her recommendations for future orders that might be more to my mother's liking. Overall she did a great job, and we didn't have any other problems
In conclusion: If you order right the food is delicious, filling, and worth the price. The Service can feel rushed at times mostly due to how busy the restaurant is especially during lunch/dinner, but the severs are very good. Overall not dissatisfied with my visit however I wasn't blown away either. I probably will return on a future visit...
