If I could give no stars I would. We visited your Cincinnati location yesterday which will be our last time for Red Lobster. It was a horrible experience, mediocre food and extremely ridiculously immature staff. Seating took 20 mins at a non busy time (415pm).Not a long wait no biggy. The bar tenders hadn’t communicated and blue moon was served as samual Adams. The taps were wrong and nobody had fixed it. They corrected the mistake with no issue. After we seated ant our table we received no water, we shortly learned our waitress had no business waitressing. The first red flag was her telling all the tables around us she was “sorry” and that “the kitchen is backed up.” In our dining experience we got to learn how her coworkers kept trying to step in and do her job. Maybe because she wasn’t doing it herself? She told the table beside us if another waitress tried to help them refuse the help and say she was doing her job. How awkward for them. She informed us that she literally was “putting an apron on and gonna kick the cooks ass and was fighting the cook on everything!” She proceeded to tell us she just got into an argument with the cook and she stated she told them “just give me their dam crab dip!” Our pasta was Al Dente, the lobster was over cooked. The “crab dip” had absolutely no crab in it. This waitress was so immature. When she brought us the bill she stood there and waited for my husband to write out the tip/sign. Very very tacky. The food was sub par tasting, the amount of food served for me and my husband was different and we ordered the same dish. Service was extremely slow. Our waitress kept disappearing (maybe duking it out with the cook) she returned once to “refresh” our drinks that we were originally served at the bar. She never returned so another staff walking by went to at least retrieve my husbands drink and I never got my pop. The waitress was so horrible and obviously there were some staffing conflicts going on while we were dining. At no time should your waitress be bashing other staff and cooks in front of customers. There was a lot of staff tension, the staff were having arguments and discussions in the middle of the dining floor. This place is definitely not what we remember. The service sucked the food has gone downhill and we won’t be back. Thankfully we were not celebrating anything because Red Lobster would have ruined the celebration. Normally I do not write reviews but Cincinnati location ruined the...
Read moreI have never been so disappointed and dissatisfied at eating at a restaurant. I have had red lobster many times and usually find their food to be tasty. This was my first time eating at this location and it was possibly one of my worst restaurant experiences. We walk in to an almost empty restaurant at 9:50 pm Saturday they close at 11pm. We get seated and get our drinks. I got a sweet tea and was served unsweet do to the fact that they were out of sweet. Which is ok something i can deal with. It was good tea. I then order my appetizer of calamari and shrimp cocktail. As i wait on them i begin to drink my tea. I suddenly start to smell an OVERPOWERING soapy cleaning smell which stings my eyes and makes it difficult to breath. I was worried. I realized the bar began to scrub there floor with what im assuming was a partial bleach mixture and it made my entire experience almost unbearable. I should of gotten up then and left but decided to stick it out i was hungry and there was no time to go somewhere else. My appetizers came out and the shrimp was good, served with no lemon or dipping sauce. But good. My calamari was chewy and was not very edable. Sent it back. STILL SMELLING THE HORRIBLE CLEANER SMELL. I order the new mahi fish blackened and got it plain and it was dry and not exactly a decent portion. They did not take the mahi off even tho i didn’t hardly eat it. They ended up giving like $15 off which is fine but when the MAHI PLATE IS $24 or so it doesn’t really cut it. My fellow person eating with me got the mahi to and got my blackened with there lemon topping. Everything was a confused on our plates. Keep in mind their is only like 2 other tables. Overall this is the worse experience at red lobster. THE MANAGER NEVER EVEN CAME OUT TO APOLOGIZE. Absolutely incompetent people. I will give the good. Our waitress was nice and was trying her best to make things right. Overall i could go more detail. The smell of the soap gave me a headache the rest of the night. I would like corporate to go in and make things right at this place. We were served old biscuits. I never hardly leave reviews but i felt necessary. The manager should know not to start cleaning with chemical in-till...
Read moreOur first clue it wasn't going to be good was when we walked in with 0 wait on a Friday evening. during the holidays. We were seated in the bar area right at 6pm, and it took 20 minutes for our server (the bartender) to finally take our dinner order. Another server, or possibly even the manager, had brought us bread and apologized for the wait for our server to even greet us (probably 10 minutes after we were seated). That should have been clue #2. It seemed like our server was put out to have to even serve us. After taking our order, we never really saw her again. The 2 people in the party that ordered soup finally got it about 6:45, and one was supposed to be a bowl, and only got a cup. Server never checked in so it could be corrected. At 7pm, our server finally came back to let us know we had 3 other orders in front of us, and our food would be out soon. We finally got food at 7:15, and one order was incorrect. The runner said he would let the server know, but we didn't see her until she put the right food down saying she couldn't read her own handwriting. We had to ask for refills on drinks because the server never paid attention. We even noticed that while there, another server had to take over another table that was in our servers section that got left sitting there, and another table had to ask her for their salads. The food itself was OK at best. The baked potatoes 3 people got were just warm at best, and none of the shrimp other than the popcorn shrimp that was brought out to replace what was wrong was really hot either, and wasn't up to the previous quality I've had from Red Lobster in the past. Frankly, I've gotten better in the frozen food at Walmart for a lot cheaper price. The only thing that was actually good were the biscuits, and the only reason I gave them 2 stars, even the ones the server managed to throw at me accidentally when bringing a refill. Honestly, if this is how the food and service is now, i can understand why they're quickly closing stores. We won't be back to...
