We tried Delicio last night and we loved it! My wife and I really enjoy both, the atmosphere and food!
Starting with the atmosphere, we both really enjoyed the vibe the restaurant was giving off. The decor is a lot of rustic wood and black metals, fairly industrial look. The light is family dim and yellow so it gives a nice relax and chill vibe. You go in and you feel like you’re there to hang out and socialize. Not just grabbing a meal.
As far as food goes, we both really enjoyed the pizza! We did two personal pans (9”) so we could try multiple pizzas. We got the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Trio but we got onions instead of mushrooms on the Trio. Both pizzas had excellent flavor! I really like their pizza sauce and then all tops seemed really fresh. Not like they’ve been cut up and sitting in a bowl all day. The only issue I had with the pizza was the dough or crust was on the chewy side. I definitely would have preferred a little more crunch but that’s nothing more than a preference. Nothing I’d hold against them for.
Overall, it was a great experience for our first time! We loved the atmosphere and the food. We can’t...
Read moreYikes. Where do I begin? We ordered Cheesy Garlic Bread, 3 different pizzas, the Coal Fired Wings, and a House Salad. The best thing we had was the Garlic Vinaigrette for the salad. The cheesy garlic bread has some weird creamy spread between the dough and cheese and has no flavor. The dipping sauce also tastes like nothing. The pizza crusts were so thin that when you picked up a slice, the toppings slid right off because the crust was so flimsy. The “double coal fired wings” were basically boiled chicken wings that were scorched for a few minutes. And the pepperonis are so thick. Fine for a salad or charcuterie board, but not for a pizza. There’s a reason they have you pay and tip BEFORE you get your food. We spent $110, had to get our own plates, silverware, napkins, etc., and still left hungry. Super...
Read moreI dont know what to say I just don't know. It seemed like one of those situations that make you HMMM. We had no waiter they said there is no waiter we had to get up every time to get food and to get drinks and refills we had to pay up front before we got served we had to get our own plates we had to get our own silverware. I never went to a restaurant that made you pay ahead of time unless it was a fast food establishment. Clearly when you walk it you know this isn't a fast food joint. Don't know if it was racially motivated but it was not the experience I wanted or was looking for. Unfortunately this place showed a unwelcomed uninvited feeling. I basically now thinking about it feel like it was...
